I'm calling this "Project Stealth" in honor of the poster whose idea this was.
Dawgs0916 and CowboyEric8 are two young men on this forum who are eligible to go to this camp. Let's send them. They will attend on June 7th & 8th and they promise to report back to us about the Camp.
Several of you offered to donate. I'm going to PM those who did.
For those who would like to help here's what we are going to do.
Send me a PM with your e-mail address and the amount you'd like to donate. I'll send you an e-mail requesting that amount.
The total amount to send these 2 young men to Camp is $390.00. I will keep the forum notified via the thread title how much we still need. $50.00 has already been pledged so for now the total we need to raise is $340.00.
Any amount helps. Once the money has been raised I will register our two representatives and pay their registration.
We may even try to get them some CowboysZone.com t-shirts to wear if at all possible. I hope we can pull that off.
Thank you to everyone who donates. There's no obligation on anyone to do this. We just feel this is a great cause. TO has never done one of these camps before so this is a great gesture on his part.
We have a May 31 deadline to do this.

Seems like it might be thru paypal, since Hos is saying he will send an email to you asking for the payment, thats usually how paypal works. I get paid on the 26th so i'll try to donate what I can. Hopefully this we can pull this off, good luck guys.

I was just asked about a payment other than PayPal.
If anyone wants to donate but doesn't want to open an account, PM me and I'll work with you on other payment methods.
I chose this method only for speed of getting the funds to do this for these boys. I have no problem working with the members in another way.

There are donations still coming in and a 3rd boy who would like to go.
Once everyone who has pledged sends their funds the 1st two boys are covered. As of right now all $390 for those 2 boys has been pledged but only $135.00 collected.
I'm still going to try and make this happen for the 3rd boy too. There will not be a 4th. I promise.
Info on the 3rd boy is coming later today.
Every donation from here on out I will be asking for your permission to apply it to the 3rd boy's registration.

Thats a shame...
I played Juco football for Blinn and then had to quit to help support my family ( tough times money wise) so i never even got to play for them after all the training I did.
Well it's still really cool for the 3 that are going I hope ya'll have a blast. I'll see if I can contribute anything even if its just like 5 bucks :)

By my calculations we now have the $585.00 to send all 3 boys to Camp pledged. Two posters still need to confirm with me that they still want to donate.
I'll begin compiling the funds tonight and start the Registration process for the 3 boys.
First off let me thank Stealth for a truly great idea.
Second, I want to thank everyone who was so generous.
Third, I want to thank the 3 boys for being willing to do this. We expect you to work hard, soak up a lot and give us good reports.
You will not find better people anywhere in the world than this forum.

Almost 600 bucks in one day, you think we could have monthly fundraisers for my house payment?

Speaking of beer, they're having $1 pints up at Two Rows (bar) tonight!
I'll be down there with a friend watching the Mavs eliminate the Spurs

thats a good idea for "the other website", but I think they were referring to another Cowboys site.
So who will be the unlucky one that will go in thights (or whatever they called)?
