I'm a Cowboy lover, I want to see Henson live up to the potential scouts saw in him and hope he can achieve that. There are no guarantees in this process but so far he is doing what is asked of him and will get his opportunity to compete which is all any player can ask for, what happens from that point on is anyone guess. I would also say some of us understood very well that Henson being away from the game was going to be a project and not the same as a young QB who just completed 3 or 4 years of college and came right into the NFL this is why Dallas gave him the 8 year deal they signed him to, in other words they had no plans on rushing him as they did Carter and more so Hutchinson.

A couple of points though:

1) "Henson has proved to be NOTHING!" - Actually "Henson hasn't proven to be Anything" would be the more correct phrasing. You may say it's just semantics but the phrasing has an entirely different meaning. If you insist on using your phrasing then you are very simply wrong.

2) "we will continue to be right." - Actually all you will continue to be is not yet proven wrong. You have yet to be proven right.

Name one person who said "Drew Henson is Tom Brady", we aren't claiming that he is.

Please people stop passing judgement until we see him in more the 2 NFL games.

No one on this earth knows how Henson will pan out.

And the Cowboys have nothing to lose by giving Henson a shot, so I figure why the heck not. Even if he had shown zero signs of improvement I would still say keep him, because until we know anything, he might just be great.

And again don't pass judgement on him, until he has played a few more NFL games.

I think Henson was a waste of a 3rd round draft pic, but I do hope he improves enough so that he can be a useful part of the organization.

Even though I am on the fence about Henson who out there is better and available. Drafting QB's are are even more dicey. For every Peyton manning or Tom Brady there are numerous Ryan Leafs and Tim Couchs. If Franchise QB's grew on trees they wouldn't be getting paid like they have the answer to life.
