He probably just got into Crankcase's stash.

He partied to hard last night?

I'd keep the ticks and take them to the vet.

On a serious note, was he just outside or inside playing and running around.

My dogs eyes get that way after they have been playing awhile or if they are hot.

See if your dog will lay down and take a nap and then see if they still look bad afterwards.

Apart from that take them to a vet or call the vet for suggestions.

Not sure about where you live but since we make sure our dogs have regular vet visits (and the idea that we have helped keep the vets in business over the years) they are normally nice enough to give suggestions over the phone and sometimes saves us a trip.

I pull at least two ticks a day off of my three dogs...

I doubt it hurts them...

Is that two ticks per dog? Or two ticks between the three dogs?

It matters. :p:

Just a bit of advice, it doesn't really hurt them, but it will if you don't do it the right way.

I'm not sure how you do it, but your never supposed to pull a tick off a dog, you must first heat the tick up(easiest way to do this is to heat a needle up and hold it against the tick) so it will back out of the skin, then pull it off. If you just yank em out the head may stay in and thats not a good thing.

his eyes are red. what does that mean?

Did you piss him off? Did you spray him with the water hose while he was tangled up with the hot poodle next door?
