You expect actual information?

Since when have JJT or Mosely ever delivered that.

Had it not been for the likes of Dale and now Parchy, you wouldn't know what is going on except for the fact that T.O. has now begun his reign of terror and that Greg Ellis' feminine parts are aching.

It is not just TO.

It was like this the last few years without TO.

But at that time it was the Tuna who got all of the presses love...or hate.

The good old days, pre-TO.

When the articles about rifts between Jones and Coach Parcells flowed like wine.

Those were good times.

I'm not sure there is much they can comment on, the guys are working in shorts and helmets so there is really no hitting going on. You will see more reports about WR and QB's playing pitch and catch than how a LB or offensive lineman did because there is nothing to gauge them by since they are not hitting.

Tell that to Jason Hatcher.

These are half speed drills with no real hitting, I saw the photo I also know they are not hitting. I'm not taking anything away from Hatcher by saying this but it is the truth until we get the full pads on and start real contact it is hard to comment on how well an offensive lineman of defensive lineman or Backer is doing.

Well of course they aren't "hitting".

If they were "hitting", it would be illegal in the spirit of the OTAs. If we were hitting, we would be cheating, like the Redskins did.:)

I thought this was a veteran mini-camp and that most if not all of the rookies would not be attending. Carpenter for certain was not there due to Ohio St and their late graduation.

Besides that, there just isn't a lot of information to be had from these 'underwear olympics'.

I almost forgot about the skins incident from last year on this very subject.

Maybe you ought to read whats posted on this site before posting about this minicamp. Carpenter was in for Mini-camp and so were all rookies.

Only guys not in are Al Singleton ( marriage ), Burnett, Crowder. Not sure if I am missing any other guy, but those are the only guys I think missing from this camp.

More bad journalism-check the headline from a Hamilton, Ontario pickup of a AP story:

Vanderjagt and Cowboys reach a truce

The Associated Press
IRVING, TEXAS (Jun 5, 2006) When the Dallas Cowboys signed Mike Vanderjagt of Oakville to the biggest contract they've ever given a kicker -- $5.4 million US over three seasons -- both sides appeared to get what they needed.
"I feel like (Cowboys owner) Jerry Jones and (head coach) Bill (Parcells) feel like they've got somebody here that's going to probably win them two or three more games than they would have won last year," Vanderjagt said during the Cowboys' final day of minicamp yesterday. "I feel very much wanted and needed here and it's been a while since I felt that way."
The Colts let Vanderjagt's contract expire at the end of last season, bidding farewell to the league's most reliable kicker but one whose outspokenness sometimes agitated his team.
Now that he's with the Cowboys, Vanderjagt said he wants the opportunity to win the kickoff job and Parcells is "excited" about having a kicker with the highest field goal accuracy rate in NFL history. He's made 217 of 245 kicks or 87.5 per cent.

My mistake. I hadn't seen any mention of him there, and thought it was due to the OSU graduation thing.

You are correct, he was supposed to miss it. But he did obtain special permission from his advisor I guess since he already completed his degree early.
