Pretty entertaining interview and some good answers by TO.
Obviously I'm pulling for him to succeed in Dallas and now (thanks to all the whiners like Nathanlt) I think I'm starting to become an actual fan of the guy himself.

OK let me say this first.
I hope TO does well in Dallas. I hope he scores 20 TDs this year and has 1500 yards receiving.
Now.
This guy has to be one of the dumbest guys on the planet. When asked about Parcells he said he's "a little fishy".
Does this guy want to have his nads busted for 6 weeks in training camp? Why would you even talk about Parcells like that knowing what kind of uphill battle you are facing.

I don't want to start another T.O. thread so I will post it here... But did you guys talk last week about what Newy Scruggs said on Galloway's show on Friday? Newy is the only local journalist who has gotten a one-on-one interview with Owens -- I think it's supposed to air this Sunday -- and Galloway asked Newy if anything interesting was said.
One of the things was this: When Newy asked Owens how much he had talked to Parcells before he signed, the answer was... Zero. He didn't talk to Parcells even one time before he signed here.
I sure hope this works out...

It doesn't matter if he had dinner with him nightly. Parcells was seen talking to his agent, and even that does not matter. He obviously bought off on it as he (Parcells) has said many times. He and Jerry discuss each and everything that goes on regarding the team...

You're surprised by this?? He's on the show, promoting a book that talks about how everyone else is wrong and nothing is his fault, and you're surprised he's taking ill-advised shots at other people??
TO is the most selfish individual to play in the NFL. He's a cancer, and I can't wait for him to explode the Cowboys' chemistry.

This team lost four of its last six games last year.
And I don't think there has been any offensive chemistry developed yet this year.
Also, Owens is on a short lease in Dallas. This isn't San Francisco or Philadelphia. Jerry will pull the plug if things start to go bad.

You know what I can't wait for is to watch T.O. explode the hopes of your cross dressing RB and fans as he blows past Sean "I got burned by a fourth stringer" Taylor for to or three TDs. Now THAT'S gonna be fun.
Take care, princess.

Yeah...would have been better if they'd finished out the season on a high note by blowing out the crappy Rams...but they did know they were out of the playoffs. In 2004, even though the Skins were way out of the race, they still finished the season strong by beating Minny...and took that high-note into 2005.
How much of an imact does that have? Who can really say. I do think, however, that Bleedsoe has a connection with Glenn...and with TO on the field, they should do some serious damage. Is it going to be enough? Who knows. How long will TO be on the field? Who knows.

Like he did in Philthy? 8 receptions for 80 yards and 1 touchdown, a paltry 10 yards per catch average (his career is 14.7, FYI).
We'll be just fine, thanks.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that IF T.O. is shut down, Glenn, Whitten, and Fasano will post some pretty solid numbers amongst the group. (you know much like that frightening WR trio you're all so proud of)
:lmao2:
I'll guarantee you that Parcells and Co. will be PRAYING that your game plan is to shut down T.O. If I remember correctly Terry Glenn alone has some pretty solid numbers against the Foreskins. A little T.O. won't hurt a bit.

Funny how Fasano is automatically a superstar in this league before even playing a snap, but proven contributors like ARE and Lloyd won't do anything. Seriously...that's really funny...

What's funny is the amount of money that DS threw at a couple of third string WRs. T.O. has more TDs in a season that both of your boys have in two combined careers. Now THAT's funny.
But, seriously, I think you guys really got a bargain.

So....the moral of this story is that hyperbole is lost on Cowboys fans?
The point is, most Cowboy fans think Fasano is going to have an immediate impact, whereas Lloyd and ARE are third-string, overpaid WRs who will do nothing in the Skins offense. There is not one rational thing about that line of thinking.
That is all.
