Next Sunday

I'm not talking about THIS Sunday. I'm talking about next Sunday.

And not the next Sunday we usually talk about.

Not the next Sunday we mean when we say:

"Lord, Ill go to church next Sunday if you can keep my wife/girlfriend from finding out about last night!"
or
"Next Sunday, I'm gonna pick better lottery numbers."
or
"I promise myself not to have a hangover next Sunday."

This is a different next Sunday.

By this time next Sunday, the NFL offseason will officially be over. Done with. Kaput. A wrap. Ancient history.

All I can say is...Whoooo Hoooo!

About time, huh?

During this offseason, I have grown two beards and a moustache, and shaved them off.
My daughter graduated first grade.
I moved a thousand miles (and before next Sunday, I'll be packed up to move back again...).
I hated T.O. and I loved T.O.
I worried about the draft, cussed the draft, and then I rejoiced in the draft.

Aaaaah, but next Sunday!

Next Sunday, it's time for FOOTBALL!

Pads, coaches screaming, blocking, tackling, news conferences, updates, depth charts, photos, player's interviews, human interest articles, etc.

Are YOU ready for next Sunday?

I'm always excited about training camp and preseason because that's when you get to see just how last year's rookies have improved. I want to see Spears become the next Reggie White and Canty the next Bruce Smith, (hey let me dream if I want to..LOL). Seriously though I would really like to see Tony Romo in some preseason action because Parcells obviously likes something about the kid, now he could be wrong but I'm still waiting...
