over
vandy should hit more than just a FG, or three EP a game, and TO should average a TD a game

We averaged 20.3 points per game last year, if we had averaged 7 points more ppg, we would´ve been 3th in the NFL just behind Indy. So I would say under.
If we averaged 10 or more points per game we would´ve been 1st in the NFL by al least 2 points per game.

Yeah, it's not just a straight up trade off. Like, TO might be good for 7-8 more TDs than Key every year. Vanderjagt might make 6 FGs that our kickers would have missed.
Our offensive line is going to be much more important, in the ppg.

It should make us good for at least 13 points a game. After all we had 20 without them.:laugh1:

Under.
Vandy probably adds 10 fg's for the season that we missed. That's 30 points.
Key scored 6 TDs last year, adding TO probably adds another 6 to that total, that's another 36 points.
66 points from those two players, approximately 5 a game. Should open up the offense for everyone else though.....

I would say the projections are as follows:
Owens - 9 TD's
Why?
He's averaged roughly 9 more TD's per 16 game season than Keyshawn. He's played in some pass first type of offense, but so has Keyshawn with TB.
Vanderjagt - 5 FG's
It's projected that Vanderjagt will go 25 for 28 in FG's. Going 7-7 from 20-29 yards, 7-8 from 30-39 yards, 8-10 from 40-49 yards, and 2-3 from 50+
Cundiff projects to go 20 for 28 on FGS.
In all, that's 78 total points (9 x 7) + (5 x 3)
And that's 4.9 points more per game.
Rich..................
again, just projections. Not a sure thing.

Something that Dargonking mentioned was Vandy and his extra points... he should be good for atleat 2-3 extra points per game and one FG = 5-6 points alone... TO should be good for almost a TD per game IMO.
I say on the conservative side UNDER = 6 points for TO and 5 for Vandy = 11 points added to what they rest of the team scores.
I really want to HOPE for OVER = 14-17... I know, I know but we can dream...

I would say under 13.
Vandy should get 120 by himself I would think.
TO should have between 10-13 TD's so give him 70
That would be right at 12 a game. Not 12 pts more per game but 12 between the two.

Except you have to subtract what we lose from Key and Cundiff/Cortez/Suisham.
It's not like we get additonal extra points with Vandy.

I dont know if 13 points a game is a fair assesment.I see @ least 3 to 4 more wins than last season being a real possibility.

I see your point... I was just thinking about how many games were we only ahead by a few points and blew it at the end... I was looking for the cushion that the addition of these two players would add to the points total...
I will take the 3-4 wins of course :)

I don't care how many points just as long as we get the W

I think TO gives us at least one TD per game average that would've been a FG attempt = +4 per game
V-Jerk should give us at least 3 more per game because TO will mean more trips to the red zone and Cundiff consistently missed there.
overall +7 average over what we were scoring last year.
