Training camp starts in mere hours. The Ticket is the home of the Cowboys and I rarely hear them talk football. They are pathetic. What's up with them? What happened to Norm? There was more football talk before they signed the new Cowboys contract.

Norm's on Vacation this week.
It seems like they are going out of their way NOT to talk football. Maybe becasue they will be at TC for 3 weeks starting Monday, and that's all we will hear. So they are getting all their crap talk out of the way this week.
And with the Mavs going to the Finals, they been talking quite a bit about them. Which really helped with the long off season before camp starts. Or at least helped me get through it.

I am sure starting tomorrow when Bill and Jerry have their state of the team address, the Ticket will be talking plenty of Cowboys. All 4 of their shows will be broadcasting live from Oxnard starting on Monday so I am sure the Ticket will provide better Cowboys coverage than anyone else in town, especially with their increased access now that they are the Cowboys station.
However, if you are looking for the Ticket to be talking Cowboys every segment and breaking down every minute detail, that's probably not going to happen. They obviously have a formula that works since they are as successful as any sports radio station in America. They have no reason to change their style because they dominate the ratings. They are the #1 radio station in Dallas for all people (men & women) ages 25-54 which is their targeted demographic.

Norm is on vacation.
The whole ticket crew will be in oxnard on monday for two weeks.
that is all they will talk about is the cowboys. Today is the last day the mavs, rangers and stars will get any attention.
The ticket is actually great, they are not just a sports station they do some seriously funny stuff too and it is a good mix.
That is why they are so successfull and national trendsetters.
Starting tomorrow morning it will be all cowboys all the time.
