That is my read on the situation as well. BP has had plenty of chances to say something about it and nothing yet. I'm ready for a preseason game to see him in action!

Looks like some kinda futuristic aerospace design. I guess the lightweight aspect of it will help quickness. It looks like it has some pogo-stick action too. Maybe some blocked kicks are coming. And maybe if it falls apart, he can use a little stick of it to poke out one of Shokey's eyes while in a pileup. Ok that's harsh, maybe just scar his retina a little bit.
