Two days after Jeremy Shockey went down with a mild concussion, the Giants lost another key player when Plaxico Burress went down with an apparent ankle injury. He spent most of the morning session sitting at a table between practice fields with his right ankle wrapped and elevated. It was not clear how he hurt it. Tom Coughlin is expected to provide an update within the hour.

If its a high ankle sprain he could be out for a while. It looks like Sinorice Moss might be brought up faster then expected.

Giants WR Sinorice Moss has missed practice with a strained quadriceps.

He's missed multiple practices but the extent of his injury is unknown.

Wasn't it not long ago that Eli Manning went against what Aikman said about needing to work with your recievers in the offseason?

Eli said something to the effect of "We'll get plenty of work in training camp".

As if ANY Manning knows what it takes to be a winner.

Well, Eli, you can't get "plenty of work in training camp" if you have injuries. That's one of the reasons you work with eachother in the offseason because you just never know what could happen.
