I don't care but this guy, in my mind, is as deserving of the Hall as any QB ever. I know he never won the big one but he was simply a great passer. Fouts might have been better as a natural passer but that's it. Not even Marino, IMO, as a pure passer. Much better athlete then either one of those guys.

Warren is the man, a real class act and a great player. You have to remember this is the Pro Football HOF, not just the NFL HOF. His canadien achievements are incredible, he is very deserving of being in the hall.

Warren Moon is well-deserving... no doubt...

I really question how he picked Leigh Steinberg to present him. His speech was less than inspiring.
But I agree w/you ABQ, Moon is as deserving as any other QB voted in and not for racial purposes, even though that's been highlighted over and over.

A Class thing to holler out to the Eskimos and Canadian Football.

He handled the whole racial thing well. Good call out to all African American guys at QB.

Ok I've got to give him luv for the major props he gave to his ex-wife and mother of his children. Don't hear that too often.

Two things a bit uncomfortable...
His dry mouth... and the VERY uncomfortable moment when talking about his ex... that was awkward...
Props for mentioning her, but it was awkward...

I agree. That was a class thing to do.

His dry mouth... and the VERY uncomfortable moment when talking about his ex... that was awkward...well, it's pretty hot there. And all the inductees are wearing the jackets and full dress while the others are wearing the golf shirts. He prolly needs some fluids.
You thought the ex-thing was awkward. Odd and unexpected, but it didn't seem awkward. He and Felicia were together a long time. Their divorce wasn't all that long ago.
I didn't even know he'd remarried. His new wife is pretty. I always thought Felicia was pretty, too...

Nice thread. Moon was a terrific passer... Tarkenton, Fouts, Moon, Marino, Manning... the best "passers" I've ever seen.
Not long ago one of the "drewpies" had the audacity to compare Bledsoe to Moon... I'm sorry pies but comparing Drew Bledsoe as a passer to Warren Moon is like comparing Dave Kingman to Babe Ruth.

Everyone makes mistakes, Steinberg highlighted the work Moon does for people who arent as fortunate.
Reggie White gave a racist speech, but everyone thinks he is a saint.

Did my post of pointing out that Warren was hardly a class act since he beat his wife really get deleted????
Insane.

Insane.Well it's really not the time nor the place and you're hardly correct about the incident that took place back when he was in Houston. At least not about the one publicized. If you have inside information outside of what's been posted in the news, I think you should share them in another thread on another day. JMO.
But from what I know about the incident, it was a disagreement that did indeed turn physical to which she called the police and then refused to press charges.
That said, let's leave it out of this thread, because on the field, Moon was indeed deserving of being in the HOF.

Exactly who said he was a class act. I think I and others said that some of the things he did were classy. If I'm wrong, then please accept my appoligies. If I'm not, I'll accept yours accordingly.
