View Full Version : When we get to the Super Bowl again...

With the Cowboys, it's never a question of "if", but "when" we get to the Super Bowl.

When we get to the Super Bowl again, who would you like to see us paired against.

I, for one, would love to see a Cowboys/Raiders Super Bowl. I don't know why....maybe there's just a mystique surrounding both teams. I think it'd be a very, very highly rated Super Bowl.

Other teams I'd love to see us play:
-Pittburgh--to even the score
-Chiefs--I live here in MO and nothing would make me happier than to see us trash the Chiefs...

The Steelers or patriots

As long as we're the first to win 6, I really don't care who the opponent is.

Would love a Cowboys/Raider SB. Most of my family are Faider fans. Would be a fun time

I agree.

We missed the Raiders in 1977 for sure.

And in 1992, they played the Bills toe to toe.

We are due.

I want the Colts. I'm still mad about SB 5...

Colts, Dolphins Pats, any of em will do the trick for me, as long as we kick their butts.

1) Raiders (because my roommate/coworker here in Mexico might as well own stock in Darth Vader costumes)
2) Patriots (Bill vs Bill...talk about the pregame hype)
3) Chiefs (Could be a shootout)

If it was in the next 2 years I'd really want to see the Dallas/New England match up in the superbowl. You know all of the matchups.

Dynasty vs. Dynasty (not technically, but symbolically)
Parcells vs. Bellichick
Bledsoe vs. Brady

my 1st choice would be the patties. then Tuna can show the world who the better coach is.

or the Raiders. they have always been my second favorite NFL team. even though its a VERY distant second.

hopefully we will find out in Feb '07

wasn't that the same year Bo had his career ended waaaay too soon? when they played the bengals in the playoffs.

One of my sworn internet enemies is a Raider fan so while it would be awesome to hold a win over his head, the risk of him holding one over me is too great.

For me, just getting back will be enough at this point, I will let the opponent take care of itself.

I have to admit seeing the Cowboys dust off the Raiders on sports' biggest stage would be the ultimate in satisfaction. But I hate the Raiders so much that I don't even want them to make it that far. I enjoyed every second of Tampa Bay showing them who the real Pirates are in SB 37. They brag waaaaaaay too much for an organization that hasn't done diddly in two decades.

they should make a rule to ban the QB leg-break tackle like the one in your sig

Parcells vs. Bellichick
Bledsoe vs. BradyI have to agree, so many good story lines, New England would be my choice. Pittsburgh, Miami and Indy would be close seconds, all quality teams that would provide for a great game.

Back-to-back-to-back championships over the Colts (payback), the Steelers (to get even) and the Texans (to put them in their rightful place as the second best NFL team in the state of Texas).

I'd love to watch the Cowboys whip the Steelers again. Revenge, revenge, muwahahaha!

You just know the Steelers would be the favorites with a repeat. Everyone would want their new hero Roethlisberger to become the next Terry Bradshaw. Would love to watch the Cowboys stick it to 'em!

Yup, it would be a good story, but I really don't have anything against the Pats. I could care less about Bill's personal problems with Belichick or Bledsoe's failure to keep his prior starting jobs. I'd still rather watch the Boys defeat an age old rivalry like the Steelers.

Why? They are currently two very important parts of the 2006 Dallas Cowboys, the team we are trying to win a superbowl with.

Well, I'm not much for soap operas (unless its on HBO ;) ) so I really don't care about Bill vs. Bill. I'm a little worn out on ego clashes after Jimmy vs. Jerry.

As far as Bledsoe, I don't think he was robbed. What does he have to play for? I would have stuck with Brady too. What revenge? If Bledsoe was lights out, he would still be playing with the Pats.

I have more desire for revenge on players/coaches who have wrong the Cowboys team, or homegrown players. I'd much rather see Buddy Ryan get his butt kicked than Belichick. ;)

I want to play and beat the Titans, Texans and Chiefs to remind them of who rules Texas.

And I want to play them AT THE SAME TIME.

.

Did they play the Bills that year? I thought the Bills played Houston, Pittsburgh, than Miami in the AFC Championship game. I also remember them playing in the AFC Championship game but Buffalo winning 51-3.

Why settle for 3 teams, when you can play.... 58 teams?

I think there should be a Chuck Norris on each of those teams as well.

Colts first then close second the Steelers. Sweet revenge. The Colts were so lucky to win that game. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
