Minor ankle sprain is what I have heard. I don't think it is anything to worry about.

He twisted it the other day in practice. Called the trainer over. They took him out of practice. He returned shortly after and I believe he either had a nice interception after that or pass defense. Probably didn't really start to get sore till the next day. No reason to panic.

Even if it was somewhat serious, it wouldn't be a reason to cash in all the chips.

We have very good depth at cornerback. Nobody wants to lose one of your better defensive players, but we have good enough depth we could possibly survive.

I too just heard he was ailing and did not know what had happened.

Getting old makes you miss some things and do some silly things like edit people's posts when you mean to quote them.:(

If this was regular season, he'd probably not even be on the injury report. He doesn't need much work to be ready for the season and the younger guys need the work, so there isn't much point in having him practice on a sore ankle.
