It's not the cowboys, but just to be able to watch football is a good thing.

Missed most of the TB/Jets game...

But the Giants and the Ravens are about to come on. So I'm interested in that game.

Steelers/AZ comes on live after that. This game I'm ok with missing.

The No Huddle comes on at 6CST...So that should be fun to watch.

Honestly, this is going to be one wasted day for me...and I love it.:D

Football is here! Woohoo!

The Tampa/Jets game was fun to watch, in the second half. Simms was held to mostly running plays, but Gruden let his third string QB open things up, and he did a great job. Gradkowski out of Toledo looked very impressive. He moved the ball for two touchdowns, and could have had another at the end of the game. Tampa's defense will be good, as usual. Their running game will be strong, very strong. Tampa, overall, could be on the same page as Carolina.

I'm interested in that Arizona-Pittsburgh game because I want to see how Edge does against a tough test early on. Albeit it may be for fantasy reasons more than anything else, but it should be interesting.

Watching the Ravens and Giants. The Gmen are still playing their starting O against the Ravens D in the second qt. The Ravens look good the Gmen don't on O or D IMO. They where able to move against the Ravens Second String. The Ravens O looked good against the G Starting D...

BTW WG where did you get the Drow avatar from?

From ESPN BALTIMORE (AP) -- The first quarter belonged to Steve McNair, who produced a touchdown on his first series with the Baltimore Ravens before sitting out the rest of the game.

McNair didn't get a win to savor, however, because the New York Giants dominated the fourth quarter and rallied for a 17-16 victory Friday night.

In his lone drive, McNair moved the Ravens 80 yards in 12 plays. He went 4-for-5 for 45 yards and ran for a 6-yard touchdown.

"It was what we were looking for, offensively, to start us out," McNair said. "That's the kind of drive we want to establish during the course of the season."

The refs gave Manning a gift after he led Plaxico out of bounds. Baltimore even challenged it and they still upheld the bad call.

Missed most of the b-more/giants game. Saw the first half, so I got to see the starting units. Brandon Jacobs is a beast in the open field. Eli's accuracy is still suspect.

If healthy, McNair is gonna be good for b-more. Kyle Boller looked as inconsistent as ever...looked good some plays, not so good in others.

I'm watching this game right now and the only thing that I've been impressed with so far is the new Cardinals stadium - I mean, like wow! It's truly a site to behold.

I can hardly wait to see how our new stadium is going to look after checking out this one.

And I don't care what anyone says, I like the refs new UNIS. Anybody catch Ed Hochuli in his uni? His shirt seems to fit better, and his gunz looked even more impressive.

For those interested, here's a link to an article about the new Cardinals Stadium and the thought process behind it's unique design...

Jacksonville isn't looking too great. Just threw an interception and their D has been shaky. They just gave up a TD as I've been typing this.

Man does j'ville miss jimmy smith. I think they may be calling him to see if he will reconsider. 3 series and not 1 completion to WR. Miami's secondary isnt that good.

Saints o-line look as suspect as ours is. Lenny P called it in his observation article. Brees is getting no time to do anything...

I'm watching the Jags/Fins game right now. Jags don't look anywhere near as good as they did last when Leftwich came out and torched the Boys in preseason. Or was that the year before? Del Rio is so pissed at his offense for their poor showing, he's throwing the starters out for a fifth series!

Absolutely great run by Reggie Bush. Had some decent downfield blocking too. Like the announcers says, it should be on ESPN later as a highlight.

EDIT: As I mentioned before, the Saints o-line is VERY suspect. I think their win record will be in the low single digits this year as well.

Mario Williams could go on to have a solid career but I think they'll still regret passing on the President. Special running backs deserving of a #1 pick don't come around often.

Special running backs deserving of a #1 pick don't come around often.I don't think they will, but then I don't have a problem with the Williams pick. Bush could take a bad hit and may not live up to nor see the end of his contract. It's the kind of thing that is more likely to happen to a RB than a DE. Julius is proof of how injuries can alter a RB's career and he was a 2nd pick.

I agree. Bush has the speed, but I don't know if he has the body. Them are some grown men! Not the same as taking those hits in college. We'll see how lil' Reggie holds up.

True, but the good rb's never really take many big hits. We had one of those guys. Julius just seems to get nailed often though.:laugh1:

The announcer put that last incompletion by Young on the receiver. And while it hit him in the hands, I thought the throw was behind him...and maybe had a lil too much on it for such a short throw.

Based on how often they've shown it on the NFL Network, I'm sure you'll have no trouble.

Nice run by Lionell Gates for former Louisville Cardinal :).

Did a flip in the air when getting hit and stayed on his feet and was able to get the ball over the line for the TD, pretty sweet.
