Should have heard Jim Rome's show today. Jim Lampley was filling in and it was all T.O. "the Cancer" talk.
Funny thing is, they never mentioned he might have actually been injured or that Steve Smith has missed as much time in Carolina's camp.

What is Salisbury saying? Is he under the impression he's still not practicing?
Yes, among other things. He's focusing on T.O.'s self-centeredness and how he is now losing the support of his fellow teammates. He also mentioned that it doesn't matter to T.O. if he loses the support of the entire team or not, because he only cares about himself.
In defense of the show, it's tape-delayed. So they weren't made aware that he would be practicing today.

According to reports, Smith missed 22 days of practice. Owens (if he's actually practicing) missed 14 days of practice.
What kills me the most about Carolina is when we signed Key, he was a cancer and was too old to play. Now he's the missing piece of the Super Bowl puzzle for Carolina and that other stuff has yet to be mentioned.

Guess who's back at practice?
This just in from Todd Archer....
To paraphrase the rap song Terrell Owens released on his Web site shortly after signing with the Cowboys in March, He’s baaaaack.
After missing 14 practices with a strained left hamstring, Owens returned to the Cowboys’ practice field Wednesday afternoon, ending a two-week absence. On Tuesday, Owens ran 100-yard sprints for the first time in his rehab while continuing his resistance training work with associate athletic trainer Britt Brown.
His availability for Monday’s game at Shreveport, La., against New Orleans is not known.
Owens’ absence had become the story of camp, and Bill Parcells’ answers to questions regarding Owens’ status were amplified so much so that Parcells said Tuesday, “this subject is getting a little redundant.”
Owens caused a stir last week when he said he would bring his only medical people and a hyperbaric chamber to help with his rehab, but owner and general manager Jerry Jones said the team did not have an issue with the out-sourcing. Jones said players have done that numerous times in the 17 years he has owned the team.
Parcells expressed a desire for Owens to return as quickly as possible because Owens is learning a new offense for the first time in his career. Having missed so much time should hurt the development as well as the chemistry he needs to develop with quarterback Drew Bledsoe.
Before getting hurt, Bledsoe had directed 21 passes in Owens’ direction and the two connected just seven times.

He is purposesly trying to injure himself just so that he can sit on the bench and collect another fat check for not playing like he did in Philadelphia. He is a disruptive locker room cancer that cares only of himself. Soon or later, this cat and mouse game between he and Parcells is going to errupt in Dallas and I will be here to break the news.

T.O. practices with Cowboys for first time since Aug. 2
Associated Press
OXNARD, Calif. -- Terrell Owens (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?statsId=3664) finally got back on the field Wednesday with the Dallas Cowboys (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=dal) after missing 14 straight practices because of a hamstring problem.
http://espn.starwave.com/i/nfl/profiles/players/statsid/s3664.jpgOwens
As has been customary throughout camp, Owens was the last player on the field for the only practice of the day. Except this time, the receiver was wearing pads and joined the rest of the team. He did go to the stationary bicycle on the sideline, where he's spent the last two weeks, but this time just for a quick warmup.
It was his first practice since Aug. 2.
With his return to practice, the stage could be set for Owens to play his first game for the Cowboys in their next exhibition game. That is a nationally televised game -- and a chance for Owens to be in the spotlight -- Monday night against the New Orleans Saints (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=nor).
During his daily briefing with reporters earlier Wednesday, Bill Parcells said he didn't know when Owens would practice. But the coach wouldn't say if Owens would play against the Saints even if he returned to the field.
"That doesn't mean he would play," Parcells said. "He has missed a lot of time. It wouldn't be so much whether he practiced or not, as to how he looked, how much he practiced and did he get enough practice to make a good judgment about playing him."
Based on how Owens was running around the previous two days, he should be OK.
While the Cowboys went through two practices Tuesday, Owens did rehabilitation work. He rode the stationary bike before doing stretching and running exercises. He ran routes, making hard cuts without any apparent discomfort, and did some 100-yard sprints at full speed.
Owens didn't talk to reporters after either session Tuesday, but indicated Monday after a similar workout that it was "definitely an improvement from last week. ... It's all encouraging signs." He missed the preseason opener at Seattle last weekend.
Owens first felt a twinge in his hamstring Aug. 2, but an MRI taken three days later was clear. Owens flew in several doctors and trainers, plus a hyperbaric chamber, because he still didn't feel right.
Parcells reiterated Wednesday that Owens needed to get back on the field, but said perceptions that he was angry at the receiver were wrong.
"Can you get a little frustrated from time to time? Yeah," Parcells said. "But that's all. We'll see. Things will work out. ... I don't want to jeopardize the early part of the season by making a mistake here. I really don't."

Well at the end of PTI they mentioned TO was practicing, I guess they are live, or close to live... Werder made up for it by reporting on ESPN that TO was practicing, then quickly said, "In typical TO fashion, he was the last person out of the locker room." I swear, they don't hesitate to make any information, no matter how unimportant a big issue. I don't know why it surprises me anymore.

Actually T.O. praised in his initial press conference and is a bit young to have been involved in the Kennedy assassination.
But he does kill kittens.
Well if he wets the bed and starts fires also...He's a Serial Killer!

Now do you think ESPN can STOP TALKING ABOUT IT?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!
Nope, now they have to discuss how much of an impact the time he missed is going to have. And whether or not Parcells has truly forgiven him.

Do you really think Jerry Jones wants them to stop talking about him?

He's been doing that all camp.

Let me tell you about this T.O. person! He is evil and rotten to the core! He is hurting the team with his refusal to practice, especially when all the other players are coming back and practicing with their injuries. He thinks he is special. A terrible, terrible prima donna because he hasn't been practicing and-
What, what?
Oh, he is practicing?
Nevermind.
I'm old enough to remember that too. :laugh2:

Notice how the ESPN guys are leading with the TO is not practicing on Sportcenter and the Cowboys just so happen to be playing on ESPN next Monday.
I mean they have really turned up the TO controversy crap in the last week or so. Just happens to coincide with thier new jewel piece(Monday Night Football).
Speaks again to the media having an agenda.
I also noticed that the ESPN Radio sportcenter updates which come on 3 times an hour have failed to announce that TO was practicing.
Just shows you that negative news is what they are pushing out there.

Yeah they've only had it on the bottom corner of ESPN News for the past 3 hours. Now if he was to miss practice today, they would immediately cut into the 2001 World Series of Poker for a breaking news report from Ed Werder.

Ed Werder in town to report on the Cowboys.......and TO decides to practice. Isn't that ironic?

I have a feeling ESPN's going to wait as long as possible to bring out this news... Which I find ironic, as they didn't wait to confirm that TO was going to miss THE ENTIRE PRESEASON!!! What a joke:lmao:
ESPN wait? I mean, that's Keith Davis' spirit out there in Oxnard as they killed him off after learning of the shooting.
