Coming up next.

EDIT: Recap added
We’ve done some good things on offense this preseason. We've worked hard and expect to get even better. We've scored on a number of first drives and obviously our defense is smothering.
It will be a work in progress with any WR. “She” and I have been together for a number of years now, so I can anticipate what he is going to do. With TO I’ve gained a little bit but it will develop over time.
I’ve worked with TO a little bit in early camps. I’ve gone to him and asked him how many plays he can give me after practice. We will work after practice some next week and the relationship will develop
We’ve (Myself and TO) got a good repoire right now. We've sat down and talked some football and what I expect of him and what he expects of me.
I don’t care about his past reputation. I would want to people to give me the benefit of the doubt and form their own opinion. A lot of issues depend on the situation that you are in. That is what I am doing with Terrell, forming my own opinion.
Of course I will be more comfortable with Terry for right now, but that confidence will build with Terrell. As we go through the season and I understand more what he does, we will develop a good situation.
I’ve been fortunate with health. Lucky and good genes. My parents have always worked hard and been pretty healthy. I’ve taken some good shots over the years.
I think mobility is over rated. Steve Young was the only really mobile QB that has won a championship and he gained success when he settled down and stopped running as much. Elway was the same way. There will probably be 10-12 plays this year that I make a significant run. It may only be 5 or 6 yards, but that is significant. I am a lot faster than you guys think I am. There is only one QB in the league that is really fast enough to run consistently right now. The more any QB runs, the more chance he risks injury.
I’ve had a nice career. I am aware of the numbers I have put up and those ahead of me, but if I concentrate on that then I am pretty much done. My body feels great and my mind feels great and I have a lot more football left in me.

I'm sure he's wishing that now lol

Thanks for the recap.

It's very ironic that Drew has been so tough and injury free all these years and then one hit he takes when he was out of the pocket, (something he rarely does), and he's sidelined for several weeks and a guy named Brady came off the bench. That sounds like a Hollywood script, if you are a Pats fan.

He's right when he says he's faster than people give him credit for . . .

My Directv went out last night because of a storm, so I was stuck watching things I had recorded. I ended up watching the entire Dallas vs Carolina game from last year.

During that game Bledsoe did a lot of roll-outs and half rolls . . . and he didn't look like a "statue" at all.

There was one play where he scrambled and gained a few yards and I was actually impressed by how fast he got out there.

I think the lack of mobility thing comes from the fact that when rushers come at him from up the middle . . . he tends to freeze up like a deer in headlights.

he holds onto the ball, and people think he's a statue ;)

Drew does not move instinctively, he has to concentrate to move in the pocket. His problem is not that he's immobile, but that he refuses to move until the very last second.

Um I think Roger Staubach was a pretty mobile QB and he won 2 SB's

You have to think. Does he have anywhere to move to? I was able to catch a few games last year and most of the time he had no where to go in the pocket to buy time due to the center and ends being so close to him. Compare the pocket Drew had last year to some of the other QBs and you will see what I mean.

Cool pic isn't it? :D

Took me forever to find it. 90% of the pics on the net of Colombo have him holding up a Bears jersey. :p:
