Titans coach said Jeff Fisher publicly says his quarterback situation remains "up in the air."
A decision won't be announced publicly until later this week, but it would be a shock if Kerry Collins wasn't the team's starter. Tennessee attempted to trade Billy Volek Saturday.

Wasn't he willing to restructure his contract? I could be wrong if so please correct me.

I didn't follow it close enough to know for sure but I do know the owner chose Young. The coaches wanted someone else. So as soon as Young was drafted McNair was as good cut.
