I disagree with you on Stallworth but I do agree the Texans will win the game. I even picked the Eagles in the Loser contest....

I don't know how you guys come up this prediction. The Texans had one of the worst defenses in the league last season. Add to that, the Eagles weren't bad last season until the injuries mounted up. I don't think this game is going to even be close. You guys are engaging in 'wishful thinking.'

on what freaking grounds the guy has done nothing. he is so overrated all of a sudden i have not seen anything out of him. he is just a number two reciever who now will be the number one. hardly the next TO its not like he is fresh from college and full of potential. he has be rotting in his own mediocrity for years in NO.

Look at the SORRY QB he had in N.O. and that explains a whole heck of ALOT

we dont know anything about the texans run game, does anyone really think wali lundy and the other dude are going to run wild over the JJohnson coached eagle defense ? their Dline is solid, especially in the middle.

E Moulds improves the O but im thinking this sunday David Carr will be in his ususal position, on hisw back staring up at some defender.

The eagles OLine will give enough of a push that they will run and get the short pass game going. Defense will hand the O the game and the eagles win by more than 10.

i don't care about aaron brooks, he was good enough to beat out a young jake delhollme in his third year so he wasn't that awful...he is still a starting qb in the NFL.

tell me about what makes you believe that stallworth is a top notch reciever not excuses about his QB.

and while mchoke is a better qb than brooks he isn't any more accurate.

I don't think the Texans have shot. I foresee a blowout with McNabb and the Eagles having a chip on their shoulder.

I'd love to see it, but I highly doubt it happens. They are just plain bad.

I'm pulling for the Texans. I'm putting my money on Philly though. They'll win and cover.

From what I understand Stallworth was acquired to play the X position in Philly's offense. That's Pinkston's position. His skill set is much more vast than Pinkston. That's why he's a serious upgrade. Brown takes TO's, and Thrashs spot which is Y?

I don't think they want Stallworth to be anything like TO. If he turns out to be another team cancer they just won't renew the guy after this season. You can't use TO as a measuring stick for receivers because more times than not with TO its addition by subtraction.

I hope he is a bust. But I just don't see it when I compare him with Pinkston.

McNabb is a good QB,,, overated, but a good QB nonetheless. In comes Mr Stallworth who is also overated but in a different way,,, "huge potential" but never turns in to much, a flash here and there. Sounds like they've just resigned Freddie Mitchell... :p:

Iggles win with their defense putting up half the points!

This is a no win situation for me, as I hate both teams. With that said, I think the Eagles win and win by at least a TD. The Texans are crap and not having Davis hurts them. They had little talent on Off and losing him (or not having him actually) is a huge blow.

I'm picking the Eagles. I'll probably check this game out and would like Houston to win, But I think McNabb will pick their D apart and it's open game on Carr on Sunday

Texans are improving but I doubt they have improved enough to beat the Eagles yet. But hey that is why they play the game.

Same here man, I hate 'em both. My brother thinks the Texans have a shot, and he's really hoping they help the Cowboys out, but he doesn't listen to the local sports talkshows.

I don't mind too much if the Texans win myself, I'll just make a point of not listening to AM 610 at all next week.

I never trust rebuilding teams in their first year with a new HC.

I'd love to see the Texans take down the Egals but I'm not going to put any money on them doing it.

Brown/T.O./Thrash = Z

The Eagles made it to three NFC championship games with the likes of Pinkston, Thrash, Na Brown, Torrence Small and Mitchell at WR. Their current group might not be spectacular, but it's better than anything they've started prior to signing Owens.

McNabb looks like he's in the best shape he's been over the last three seasons and the additions of Howard and Bunkley are going to turn that defense in one hell of a unit.

Philadelphia does have a history of starting slow under Reid, but the Texans simply don't have the talent level to upset a hungry Eagles team that's ready to prove their doubters wrong.
