TO will be good.
Witten too.
Drew will struggle too much with pressure to shine.
Roy will make a big play that helps us win. The rest of the guys on D will be largely invisible.

Just having TO on the field should open things up for everyone especially against a depleted secondary. Whomever is covering TO will require support from S. Taylor softening up their run support, and allowing T. Glenn 1on1 coverage. The Skins won't be able to blitz as much as they normally do, but I still expect pressure. Bledsoe has to make some plays and not get rattled. I expect a big day from the offense as a whole.

I think T.O. is going to go off like never before. SNF... nat'l audience... in his first homegame as a Cowboy vs. a divisional rival? Wow. Anyone that has tickets for this game SHOULD be VERY excited. I will have my popcorn ready... make no mistake.
I think DeMarcus will also shine in this one, after Merriman's performance he's gonna be a lil ticked off.

Glenn.
Greg Williams' philosophy seems to always focus on shutting down the biggest threat with double or triple coverage. Evidenced by TO's not so great preformance against the Skins in the past. Of course TO's stat line doesn't include the fact that the Skins allowed no-talent Number 2's to average around 100 yards and a couple touchdowns when TO was playing.
Look for Glenn to see single coverage and we all know that Glenn in single coverage is never a bad thing for us.
I also expect Witten to have a good game.

I expect to have a better game next week. I take full responsibility for fumbling a couple of potato chips and using some unsportsmanlike like language last week but I have been working hard this week and ready to put this past Sunday behind me and just move on to the next game. :lmao2:

Terry Glenn - single coverage
Terence Newman - with exception to last game, hasn't this guy been a Redskins killer, or do I have him mistaken?
Drew Bledsoe - he's gonna play like he did against New Orleans to protect his job.
Who's Not going to have a good game:
Pat Watkins - hopefully he won't be KDII. Hopefully he'll be like Woodson, and we can have a WatkinsGirl on CZ. Keep him away from Moss if he can't handle it!
Cowboys DL - can you say, no pass rush?
The Redskins team - wishful thinking

I also expect Witten to have a good game.I like the way they used TO in this game. When TO goes into the slot, he's a threat to score INSTANTLY!! That's where his TD came from, the slot position.
And when he drags across the field, it's dangerous for defenders, and 1 on 1 down the side line. They had better watch how and where they decide to blitz.

I'd feel alot better answering if the question wasnt who is *going* to, but rather who I'm *hoping* will.
Plus it would be alot easier to answer as well. I could just say.. everyone!
Oh wait.. and I'm also assuming the answer has to be a Dallas player? ;)

I'm primarily interested in seeing our front 7 being allowed to bring the heat on Brunell. This guy folds under pressure quicker than most. I could easily see a couple of gimme picks due to this if we can get in his face on a consistant basis.

Unfortunately, the same thing can be said about our QB. :bang2:

Terry Glenn is a deadskin killer especially on national TV. The flea flicker last year in game two, the Richie Anderson pass he caught at Wash on MNF a couple of years ago. He just seems to shine against Wash (and Philly).

Ware will make a statement after the Merriman Show.
I doubt it...he'll be controlled by Samuels and Janson again for the most part. He's a very good LB, but he's not in Merriman's league as a pass rusher yet...probably never, imo...that doesn't mean he doesn't have a probowl in him, by the way.

I think on offense it will be Julius. I think Bledsoe will not want to throw ints, so he will not force the ball. Bledsoes big game will be against the Eagles. On defense I think Roy steps up big this week. He still remembers last year, and he will want to reverse that image.

:lmao: I had to be on my best behavior last week because we had friends visiting from the mainland. But this week??? I hope the neighbors have their ear muffs on if we lose.
I see all our receivers; Owens, Glenn and Witten to have good games. They won't continually double or triple Owens with a player of Glenn's quality on the other side. This is all predicated on us throwing the ball and Bledsoe not feeling any ill effects from his injury. I wouldn't be surprised, though, to see BP try to run the ball down their throats all day even if it isn't working to win the TOP.
