"It worked right before we came out for the game," Childress said. "They take those helmets all over the stadium and check them in every corner. They worked before we came out [of the locker room]. They didn't work for the first play. They worked before we came out for the second half, because they rechecked everything -- batteries, cells -- and it didn't work as we started the third quarter."

it would'nt be hard to jam the signals, but man if you got caught you would ruin your team, should have to give up your whole draft and spend 3 months on an island with tom cruise.
that would be the sleeziest thing since the 49ers and bronco's paying player under the table to avoid the cap, or the whole panhters oline and kicker being on steroids for their super bowl.
actually if it ain't the cowboys it probably won't even be on espn let alone anything ever be done about it

I think it was the secret power of Tom Cruise.
It is widely known he can manipulate power.

I always thought that if one team had an equipment malfunction the other team was also prohobited from using radios.

Maybe that's why they never keep any of their draft picks.

if they dont say anything to the refs, than it doesnt happen. Because once a team reports it, doesnt the ref get on the PA or something and announce that the other team now has to shut off its mic?
because usually the people on the box catch word of what is going on, yet no one even mentioned that the vikings were without their system

From the article:
An NFL spokesman acknowledged there was an "interference problem" with the Vikings' wireless frequency. The spokesman said no specifics were available on the nature of the interference.
So the NFL knew, but the stinks were still allowed to use their radios. What a surprise--the stinks cheat & get away with it yet again.
Maybe it was the power of Thetans (the Scientology thingy they believe in).
If is turns out to be true that someone in the organization cheated, then I would take away their use of wireless for the rest of the season.
Of course, being that Washington is in Washington...Who says that...maybe an NSA or CIA employee may be a Skins fan. Those guys have as many cool toys as Batman.
