I expect Ware to play on fire. The boy has pride. Watching Merriman's 3 sack night must have got to him.

I really don't take Ware to be the player that wants to show someone else up. I take him as the type of guy that wants to do his job regardless of how unspectacular it might be just so he can avoid the wrath of Bill. Hes going to do what the team wants him to and I don't see him having enough chances to rack up a handful of sacks in a single game.

Hey the guys a competitor. There's a poll on DMN website asking fans if the Cowboys should have drafted him or Merriman. He would have to be dead to not let that get some of his competitive juices flowing.

I really don't take Ware to be the player that wants to show someone else up.He needs to be that type of player. Folks are questioning whether he as that nasty mean streak that it takes to be a beast of a linebacker. He does need a little attitude.

I like what Ware's doing, I'm just getting concerned about pressure from others. I liked what Glymph brought to the table as a rusher, did he go to the PS? Also, Ellis is a solid passrusher, but not consistant.

We need to find a second rushing beast. Maybe Carpenter can be that guy, cause Ware needs help.

All I know is the Cowboys better pressure Brunell and not let him get out of containment like last year at the end of the game!

Merriman would do equal to or less than ware in what we ask ware to do and I think Ware would have flourished in the chargers system. Remember systems allow you to take advantage of your players' abilities and mask their weaknesses, I don't think Merriman can do anything outside of rushing the passer and run containment

Samuels is sooooo overrated.

I used to think he was too. But as I watched him over the years comparatively, the guy really is one of the best in the league.

He makes his mistakes like all of those guys, but he is damn good.

Everyone is down on Ware because he isn't a tattoo covered second-year roid monkey making bold proclamations about being the best linebacker in NFL history. All Merriman has done is show a few flashes against mediocre competition.

So now after one good game every Joe Fan in the sports world thinks Merriman is the next Lawrence Taylor. The fact of the matter is Merriman had many more opportunities that he couldn't capitalize on in Week 1 against the worst team in football. Despite being part of a defense that collectively made a mockery out of the Crypt Keeper's Raiduhs and their 1990's Offense by recording 9 total sacks, he only managed 3. In case you forgot, Ware has done the same thing, against a real team, all while being coached by a man whom many people on this board deem a failure of a Defensive Coordinator in Mike Zimmer.

Turn the hate off. Just for a moment.

And stop pulling stuff out of your "A double..."

Just the facts, ma'am.

You gonna watch the game tomorrow? I mean, seeing as how you already admitted you know the Deadskins are going to lose. Or maybe that was someone else, can't keep track of all you ES vagrants.

I would pretty happy if he would just RUSH THE PASSER AND GET RESULTS. I dont know about you but the prospect of Ware chasing Full backs and Tight Ends down the field doesnt exactly excite me. Also, we havent a big time rusher since Haley and Ware was brought in to be that guy. I guess I should be SATISFIED that Ware is a COMPLETE player and could blanket those Full backs and Tight Ends while Merriman is lighting the world on fire. Im a diehard and I watch every draft, every minute of every game but to be honest, the better Merriman does, the more its makes me disgust Ware. WE NEED A PASS RUSHER!! THE NEXT LT!!! THE NEXT LT!!. WHAT A BUNCH OF BULL SH@#!!!!!!

I expect Ware to have a good game, but I don't expect him to wear out Samuels or Janson...he's going against two OT's that are better than average, and he's not the pass rusher that Merriman is...period...that's not a put down, just a fact that everyone in the NFL except Cowboys fans recognizes.
