Led the Saints in tackles today with 9 & 8 respectively. N.O. is now 2-0. Bush was #2 in receptions with 8 for 68 yards...only 5 carries. McCalister only had 13 carries. I guess because they were playing catchup after first quarter.
Regardless of the opponents, two road wins to start the season is pretty bright for N.O. and Sean Payton. I'm sure he's happy we didn't need Fajita or Shanlee as they are definitely helping his defense in its first year.

Was just about to post this as well. Good for those guys, and good for the Saints.

I hope that our linebackers have some good production today. We're gonna need them.

Thanks for clearing that up. That's almost as bad as your CB being your leading tackler.

Hey Adam, those were great stats. Where did you find them? I would like to look up some top LB's and see where they are on most of their tackles.

No joke...as a LB, you line up 3-4 yds from the line of scrimmage. If you are tackling at 5 yds or more of gain, you're going backward.
Nothing to see here. I continue to be unimpressed with The Shanle.

Dang, how did Green Bay lose the game?
They allowed 34 points, and Favre threw an interception inside the 10.

This just in - if you allow GB to score 20 something points, no amount of stats will make you look good.

After the game, when Favre takes the tape off his wrists, wads it up and tosses it toward the trash can ... I'm convinced that someone will step in front of it and pick it off.

I watched the Packer game today, and both those guys played quite well.
Ex-Cowboy Antonio Bryant also had a huge day in San Fran.....4/131 and 1 TD.

That's not necessarily indicative of a poor performance by the LBs. It depends on a lot more things than what you'd take in to consideration at face value; especially if you are going to accurately evaluate it.
... but it does make it just a little less exciting, indeed.

For all the crap Payton took here in Big D, I gotta say, I think he's doing an excellent job with Bush. I know folks want him to run 30 times a game, but giving McAllister the bulk of the running, and using the smaller Bush as almost another wideout, is I think the best way to go.

Payton doing a great job and Saints are now 2-0. Antonio Bryant off to a great start for San Fran. Shanle also forced a fumble and the long tackle was a TD saving play. I'm happy to to see Sean doing so well. With Deuce and Bush that's a team that may suprise.
