A lot of people are shaking their heads right now. I was worried about these two teams getting in our way later...not so much anymore.
I think we have a lot going for us tonight too...like REVENGE.
No way we let the Skins pull one out tonight.
NO WAY!

Yeah, but Vick is an accident waiting to happen.
We'll see...
Nothing but congrats to Payton until we play them later on.
Till then his team gets a pass. ;)

Looks like Mora has finally realized that Vick is not going to win games as West Coast QB.
We have to hope that Dunn starts to wear down. He's averaged 25 carries a game through the 1st 2 games.

Chris Gamble lost that game for Carolina today with the retarded punt return pass that became a fumble recovered by Minnesota. His pass coverage wasn't so hot, either.
And, yes, Atlanta's defense is REALLY good. Even better when John Abraham plays (I think he was out today with a strained groin).

Well Carolina is playing without 40% of their offense (smith of course) as well as a slew of other injuries so I'd wait a bit before judging them.

Yep. Mora has realized that he has to create the offense to work for Vick, not put Vick in an offense he likes. Vick will have his best year ever this year.
And the defense is amazing. If Abraham heals, they are even more deadly.
Atlanta is a contender again.

Well, they travel to Tampa Bay next week.
The Bucs are gonna be SUPER tough at home with a 0-2 record.
If the Panthers go 0-3....turn out the lights.

Lets see how fast the ESPN crews run down to carolina, and talk about the "other hamstring", and let's hear them talk about another brewing QB controversy that's about to begin in tampa, because Chris Simms sucks!!!!!

Carolina will be back as soon as Steve Smith is healthy. If he continues to have the hammy problems with both legs, they'll be a losing team again, just like they were 2 years ago when he was hurt.
Tampa Bay was overrated from the start.

Well, the Bucs have to start their season against 3 tough teams in the Ravens, Falcons and Panthers. If they can go 1-2 before their bye week, they are doing alright with that schedule IMO.

Thought Phil Simms Jr. and Cadillac Williams got too much hype. Weak oline too. Same story as usual for Tampa, great defense, questionable offense. They'll come back, probably have a late season surge with Simms getting more experience, but they're playing in a great division. No playoffs for any NFC East or NFC South team that starts 0-2.

Chris Simms was awful today. He hit dbs in the chest 2-3 times and they couldn't hold on.

It is easy to second guess. Dam MMQB(s). We win tonight we are in tie for first in our division. Even then it won't matter much because the league won't materilize until week 7 or 8.

I think you are right about Vick as well as the defense.
I saw in the highlights they even ran that zone read play (I think that's what it is called) that a lot of the colleges run. And Vince Young was so successfull with last year at Texas.
I know a lot of the experts said that play could not be used in the pro's, but I could not understand why not.
You may not want to build your offense around it, but it seems that it would be a nice addition to an offensive system.

Dolphins also 0-2.
Interesting--4 teams considered locks for the playoffs, & 2 strongly pushed as Super Bowl contenders (Carolina & Miami) are currently 0-2: Carolina, Tampa Bay, Miami, REDSKINS!
And maybe the Vikings really ARE for real!
