I think we had this discussion the other day with the Philly poster's in this forum
Taken from another forum:
They are dissing Dallas saying they stink and that the Eagles will redeem themselves after yesterday by blowing Dallas out in 3 weeks.

The egirls need to worry about the Packers and Niners. The way they (the Egirls) finished that game yesterday, those two teams aren't an automatic W. In fact, I think they go 1-1 in those two games.

At this point the eagle's should be wondering who's gonna be making up for the production loss of the pass rush of Kearse and where to send his get well soon and see yah next year card's.

LOL the Eagles fans instead of worrying about the Cowboys game, they should be worrying about their teams continous choking in big games

Can their early schedule be any easier. Houston, San Fran, Green Bay, Saints, Bucs, and Titans with a few division games in there. They may jump out to an insurmountable lead in the division. We have to sweep them or they may run away with it.

The injuries they (the Eagles) suffered yesterday are really going to hurt. They still don't seem committed to the running game. Out of those 6 games I wouldn't be suprised if they ended up losing 2 of them.

Throw the Raiders in with that group and it's about as challenging as the bottom half of the Big Sky Conference.

I think the Niners and the Saints have a chance if they play well. Both have shown they can put up points, but the question is can they do so agaisnt a good D.

Their D is based on the Blitz and exotic schemes. They are vunerable in the secondary and can be exploited. If you can pick up the Blitz, you can scorch their defense all day.

I don't usually like to get into predicting schedules becaue most games are a long way off, BUT if you are gonna discuss the Eagles schedule you cannot leave out the brutality of the 2nd part of the schedule. Take a look at these games starting Nov. 26 to end the season:
at IND
CAR
at WAS
at NYG
at DAL
ATL
Three straight in the division on the road. That is unheard of. So if I were Eagles fans I'd shut up about what they are going to do this year. Let's see how they do toward the end. Losing Kearse is big and I think they will struggle.

Good Hunting ...or Tally-Ho! (Hunt (http://www.wordwebonline.com/en/HUNT) cry (http://www.wordwebonline.com/en/CRY) "the prey has been sighted (http://www.wordwebonline.com/en/SIGHTED)") " Tallio, Hoix, Hark, Forward,"
which is a corruption of the French hunter's call. Four hundred years ago the French hunter encouraged his dogs with the musical cry of "Thia-hilaud a qui forheur!" sometimes printed "Tya-hillaut a qui forheur!" From this the English manufactured "Tallio, hoix, hark, forward."
I found that quite interesting.
Eagles laugher of a schedule + having a good team = most likely reps for this division,,,

Philly will loose to the niners...as for the packers, how sweet it would be to see philly loose that one.

I think Philly is a very very dangerous team. I wouldn't write them off. Losing a game they dominated most of day will only fire them up. That might have been the worst thing that could have happened to us. Reid just might not get conservative next time they are blowing somebody out.
As for Kearse that's a shame. But lets keep in mind he only plays half the snaps. They are rotating 2 different D lines, and both those lines are racking up sacks. McDougle will take his place, or he'll replace Cole, and Cole might take Kearse's spot.
From what I've seen Cole is a stud, although not to bright kicking a Giant to give New York a win.

Phoenix, the players and coach overlooked the Giants. You have to admit time management and the play selection in the fourth quarter killed the Eagles. The Eagles had the momentum until Reid decided t flex his running game and try to make a 4th and 1. Why didn't McNabb roll-out after he saw 11 men in the box?

when is anyone going to understand, the problem in Philly is McNabb.
he inconsistantly sucks, which means he is inconsistantly ok.

We have to sweep them or they may run away with it.Bingo! They are a fickle crowd in Philadelphia. With San Francisco and Green Bay up next, the Eagle trolls will be back here the week leading up to 10/8 talking up their 3-1 phantom team as a Superbowl contender.
As far as the insurmountable lead in the division, it will be fun to watch the Eagles team self-destruct once the schedule turns on them in the second half of the season. I can already tell injuries will be one excuse.

we aren't the Texan or Giant D, they are going to find it very hard to get yards against us, and our pass-protection is looking pretty fair

I am bothered by that, it now time to focus on our next opponents and not worry about what happened in the last game; except not to let it ever happen again.

Using that same logic, wouldn't the next to last place team from last year also get a semi-easy schdule (somebody tell me that I didn't just say that out loud to Hos ...did I?) ...oops:rolleyes:

We have to sweep them or they may run away with it.Sometimes teams get better by playing weaker teams. Builds confidence, execution has a chance to develop, players become more comfortable playing within themselves, players trust each other and their coaches, etc.... An easy schedule is just what the Dr. ordered for the Eagles. They could become quite tough.
