this is speculation. He doesn't even know how long he will miss because he hasn't had time for the swelling to decrease. They are guessing IMHO.

They arent guessing, John Clayton is probably kicking it with Terrell in his hot tub.

TO is a superhuman beast and his workout regimen is impeccable.

I fully expect him to be in Tennessee catching TD passes from Bledsoe:starspin

Thats true but why has he been hurt every year since 2001? Something I couldnt wrap my head around, Too me that would be considered semi-injury prone.

Lol Salisbury just said the Dolphins are overrated. Lmao they are 0-2 and nobody is speaking highly of them. Hes so stupid...

Seriously do you think the Cowboys actually need T.O. against Tennessee? I should hope not, they're one of the worst teams in the NFL, so I wouldn't look for T.O. to lace em' up for that game...

here's a link from SI

"I certainly wouldn't rule it out now," Parcells said. "Maybe five days from now I might, but I wouldn't rule it out now. ... I know we're looking to try to get him moving around pretty good in the next day or so. So we'll see where we are."

If he can play and is 100% then why not. It would give him and Bledsoe another game to get in sync.

He won't be 100% by then I think they'll all agree, question is if he's 80 or 90%, if he can still go or not.

And those are the kind of teams that you need to look out for...they might come out hungry for that win, while the Cowboys think it's a vacation...Nope!

Every game counts and the bad teams are usually the ones that give the best games...

Don't count any team out...even the Raiders?

Bledsoe just needs to throw to his left hand so he can 1 hand it. :)

Be careful with that thinking... San Fran and Oakland should have been GIMME games last season and look how those went.

He does not need to play against the titans. I would rather see the young WRs and Crayton get more time in that game.

I agree...who is T.O. anyway?

If the Cowboys can go win that game with the other young recievers that would be great! Then what? Popcorn?

Does he still have the hyperbaric chamber? If so, I expect him not to miss a practice!

I want TO to be available and dressed for the Titans game... just incase.

But I'd like us to get a 49-0 lead by halftime so he doesn't have to play the second half (or any other of our starters for that matter).

And then they could embark on a gay boy band career....

My wife just bought me a T.O. jersey as a surprise (She's such a good wife :D ) No way he misses the first game that I get a Chance to wear it.:D

Even at 50 % he's going to draw double coverages and gives us a better chance to win. Look what he did to the Skins, Sean Taylor was basically spying him in the 2nd half. Little did they know he was playing with one hand.

At least with TO being a Cowboy, you always know we will be mentioned on Sportscenter. :lmao2:

If he's not in any danger of further damaging the hand and its just a matter of "discomfort", I fully expect him to play. Jerry cut him a $10 million dollar check in the offseason to play football. Its football season.

The origin of Owens' metacarpal fracture has been covered up. Truth be known he over-did it gratifying himself. I know from personal experience how those things can happen....

Did you have surgery to put a plate in to secure the bone?

If the surgery was done correctly, the bone cannot be broken again.

I think TO will be back for the next game and I think he expects to be back next game. As for Tenn they are still a pro team and should not be taken lightly. Fans can afford to take them lightly the Cowboys can't.

Those metal plates in your hand are not that thick, I have 2 of them in my hand. They can bend or move causing the bone to mend incorrectly.

InmanRoshi

They put the plate in there for a reason. If you're waiting for the bone to fully mend on its own, he'll probably be out until after Christmas. If he's not ready by Tennessee, then he shouldn't be ready by Philly.
