With the bye week on us early this year, it just seems too early in the season. Which game(s) will you be watching with no Dallas to keep us entertained ?

I'm going to a friends to watch the Giants-Seahawks on his new 55 in HD plasma. Gotta get some football in.

Whats on your schedule ?

While it'll probably be a bad game, I'm excited to watch the Skins and the Texans. If the Texans can pull it out, it will certainly make my whole week!

Other than that, I'll probably just surf around for my fantasy players.

I'll have to watch the Bucs and that high-potent, ingenius offense at work.

I know I'll watch the Texans/Skins game, because I honestly think the Texans are going to win it.

I'll probably flip back and forth w/ the Hawks/Giants and Eagles/9'ers. I'd love to see all the NFC East teams go down, but it's highly unlikely.

What games will I watch? The best matchups of course!

Jacksonville at Indianapolis 1pm
N.Y. Giants at Seattle 4:15pm
Denver at New England 8:15pm

As for the Monday night game, I will just channel surf as I expect it to be a blowout. It will be fun to watch Dunn, Vick, and Bush though. Beyond that, it will be a boring game.

Giants - Seahawks
Redskins - Texans
Philly - San Fran
Saints - Falcons

While it is improbable, a triumverate of losses for the Giants, Redskins, and Philly would make my week.

Sunday Ticket is a dream come true. I like having all the choices, along with my new LCD HDTV! Now if I can just get my kids to watch Barney in the other room.

I'll be watching all of the NFC East games. I really believe that both Philly and Washington are in for much tougher games than their fans expect. And I want to see just how good the Giants really are.

I have watched the Texans play the past couple of weeks. As sad is it seems, they appear to be a more complete and competitive team than the Redskins. I have been in Houston all week, and they are ready to face the Redskins to finally get on the winning track.

I also think San Fran will give Philly all it can handle. Frank Gore has looked good so far, and AB is living up to his potential (minus calling out his QB when he missed him). Not that San Fran will win, but I think they have a good shot...and they are at home. Philly is also missing Kearse, and that can't help.

I hope your right about Philly losing to SF but coming off a loss like they had lastweek I would think Philly is not a team you would want to face this weekend.

I'll have to watch the Redskins/Texans. I think Houston has a real chance to pull one out against Washington, and it would be absolutely great to go to ExtremeSkins after a loss to Houston.

Other than that, I'll watch the Eagles and the Giants play their respective games and hope for a loss there.

IMO, of the three NFC East rivals, the Giants are the best. I think they match up with us the best, too... so I worry about them the most. Although, I don't really worry about them because they definately can be beaten.

You have a good point, but those losses can also be backbreakers that can send teams into a tailspin, and SF is not the team you want to face after a letdown, as they do have quite a few offensive weapons.

Recall week 2 last year when we lost to the Redskins in the waning minutes of Monday night football. We nearly had a meltdown in San Fran the following week, and had to pull out a W in the end.

Not saying SF will win, but it wouldn't surprise me to see McNabb and the Eagles lay an egg.

As I said I hope your right but if I was going to lay money on the game I would have to think that Philly is going to beat the snot out of SF this weekend. No doubt I'll be keeping an eye on that game as well.

any NFC East and AFC West games (except the Raiders). Raiders are like watching paint dry in a Rainstorm...

1:00: CIN @ PIT, w/ some CHI @ MIN sprinkled in
4:00: NYG @ SEA

Those are my choices. All decent games.

Ditto.
I honestly think there is a very good chance that all of the NFC east teams lose this weekend. SanFran is suprisingly tough and has found an offense. Smith has turned around his 11-1 INT to TD ratio. The Hawks will be a tough matchup for the NYG, esp in Seattle.
Houston can put up points too and Wash doesn't seem to be able to...and in the end that what it boils down to. I think it'll be close and Wash better have CP at 100% or they could be in trouble.

The Ryder Cup!

I can't believe our good fortune that the bye fell the same week as the Ryder Cup.

Jim Furyk can feel Tony Romo breathing down his neck right now.

Going to the Panthers-Bucks game when I visit a college buddy this weekend. I thought when we decided to hook up this weekend it would be between a couple 2-0 teams, not 0-2 teams. Anyway, it will be desparation at it's best, and I expect an exciting hard hitting, low scoring game. One of these playoff teams from last year, and the Panthers everybody's Super Bowl pick, one of these will be 0-3!

What about Superfan? How do you guys like the Redzone channel? I absolutely love it!!!! When my #1 game (other than the Boys) reach a lull ... I turn to the Redzone and they switch to the excitement whenever its happening. And, "Big-Ear Andrew" is very good at reporting the action.

No football for me this weekend. I'm gonna relax, and catch everything on sportscenter.

Gonna take a nice long drive and enjoy the nice weather. I can't be couped up indoors much longer. I'm gonna go nuts.

Then we hunker down for the rest of the season, and prepare for some real football. Oh yeah!!!

I'll be watching both the Redskins vs Texans and Giants vs Seahawks. both should be good games... or well the first game both teams suck but should be a close game and the second game if its even half as good as last years Giants vs Seahawks game then it will be the game of the week.
