Not a lot to talk about. Parcells says he discussed the Duquesne situation in depth with the players, in case any of them are going back to their campuses this weekend (he's giving them the weekend off).

Also said there are a few spots in Dallas that the players.....then he danced around it.....but that basically they should avoid. (Like maybe your car at 3 am?)

Trusts the team. Really hasn't had a lot of problems the past couple of years with players. That doesn't mean good kids can't wander into a bad situation but good kids on the team.

Parcells doesn't really get a break mentally. A break from some of the adrenaline & stress, but not mentally. Been thinking about what he wants the team to work on next week. Also trying to get the practice squad kids ready to go because this is a long stretch ahead of us & we need to be ready in case the starters go down.

what im concerened about, building on what happened last week, feel you dont stay same, either you get better or worse, improve on as a team, and do alot of work with some individuals that can help us 4-5 weeks down the road, if injuries come up, pratice squad guys be ready, i gave young players lots of reps this week,

made some mistakes, hopefuly more careful with football, premier thing & penalty thing squared away, spent time with team on penallities this week more than i usually do, but last week, guys were trying to do something in the game, like Riveria, but tried to do to much, but played hard, which was alot different with penalities in 2nd game compared to 1st week penalities

he is a guy that needs to play in 1st 2 games, he is commpetivie, his weight is down, and kosier is down, some guys you know, but both are down

watkins situation wrong technique in tackling ?;
live drills, we do some aggressive form tackling, thats just a dangerous thing to tackle like that, with body parts to injury, hes not missing tackles with that technique, but he will, when dorsett was here, i encoureged my players to put their head behind by players, i knew he was cutting back and he was good at it, put your head on backshoulder, sometimes it worked,

you start on net 40 yards, your doing some business, how many times, what 6, say other team was punting average of 35 yards, you figure it up the difference , thats hidden yardage, can translate to yardage and points in a game

its our guys job to cover on punts if he punts deep,

i told my punter to punt as far as you can, and we will see what happens, i had a good punter and my snapper was a good linebacker, so i told our players were punting has far as we can, its your job to cover it,

watch some guy, hes not a 70 players, about 35, hes not on nickel, lot of players once you get past 45 mark, they go downhill, always somebody thats a knucklehead, but i try to warn them, but ive havent had problems with guys last couple of years, that doesnt mean though a guy cant wander into wrong area, or wrong situation, but im not judge and jury on that

this week is a break from stress, but not mentally for me, im trying to decide what i need to work with my team on, condition them hard for 3 days, i know were going to have a long stretch, honestyl thats why im trying to get these young players ready, like wash or phily that lost 2 key players, but some players are happy to be here with first couple of pay checks, ive got to go, will be back monday
