Bledsoe:
We had a good game in Nashville. It was a game we were supposed to win and we did.
I've tried later in my career to enjoy the victories more. Any time you win a game in this league you have accomplished something. The losses are harder to take, but you move on to the next week. If you happen to win that very last game on the schedule then you can enjoy that the rest of your life. I take losses hard because I expect to win every game.
The OL has been doing a great job. We have had great protection and are running the ball well. I had all day on the second touchdown to Terry. We are still working on getting rid of the ball faster but there were no sacks or no real pressures last Sunday.
With players like Glenn, Owens and Witten in general you will see fewer blitzes because they don't want to get burned and will pull players off for coverage. Also Crayton, Fasan Julius and Barber. They all are threats to catch the ball.
Gurode. I've never seen anything like that on the football field. I was talking about that with my brother. THere is no place for it in the game. I don't know how you allow a guy capable of that to come back on the field. As far as I can tell, it came out of the blue. Andre was having a great game and after watching the film you can see why Haynesworth was frustrated. Andre was dominating one of the best DT's in the league. Andre is having a great year for us. The NFLPA needs to be careful in defending Haynesworth. It makes it appear that they are approving his actions. I know he wasn't wearing metal cleats, but some of the guys do wear baseball style cleats. It really doesn't matter when a 340 pound guy stomps on your face. Tennis shoes will do damage in that case.
The reverse to Glenn was embarrasing. I was trying to figure out which guy to block. It wasn't drawn up like that. I took alot of ribbing in the film room over that. I will say my guy did not make the tackle, none of the four. (laughing)
Obviously this a big game on Sunday. They have really been playing great outside of letting the NYFG come back on them. I'm sure literally thousands of fans have been workking on their signs for months now. This is a game that you really want to play in. I think we can go in and play well against them and will come out with the victory if we do.
In general we try to be a little more simple on the road with our plays with communications and all. We'll still will bring lots of looks, but it will be a bit simplified.
They are a little crazy up there anyway. Add in TO coming back and the division lead at stake and it will be extra crazy.
TO is never weird on the field or in the huddle. I told him when he came here that I expect him, like all of my WR's, to give me good info on the field. He came back the other day and I asked him if he was open. He said no but the halfback was. That's the kind of info I am talking about. As we get more comfortable with each other he will get the ball even more.
There is a lot of animosity between Philly an TO, but I have noticed it doesn't bother him, in fact it motivates him.
