Bledsoe won't be pulled unless he's hurt and can't play.

Haven't we had a thread on this already.
To answer your question, NO!
Do I think he should start? YES!
Absolutely not. I doubt the thought has even crossed Parcells' mind.

No because Parcells wouldn't want this board to shut down as he owns stock in the company who sells us bandwidth. After all without the extra bandwidth used to rip Bledsoe and call for Romo, his stock won't be woth as much.

One more game this bad in the next 2 weeks and Romo will get the chance to start - but it won't happen this week.

There's as much chance of the other Romo (Bill Romonowski) starting as Tony has this week.

The guys on DC.com radio seem top think there is a chance that Romo will start. We won't know until the last minute.

Simply stirring the pot.
Cause the natives to get restless so the head chief (Jerry Jones) can step in and calm the potential uprising.
The problem I see is if he does not make the change this week, our next 5 games are Giants, at CAR, at WASH, at ARZ, IND, I mean you could start him at ARZ but I think it is better to start him at home on thanksgiving against Tampa Bay and thats more than half way into the season.

And if Romo came out and lost the game against Houston, which could concievably happen to a QB in his first meaningful NFL game, would ya'll be calling for Bledsoe again?
Frankly, I expect that Bledsoe is starting until injured or eliminated from the playoffs.

Then why has Parcells been saying that Romo WILL play this year???

It wouldn't be Romo's fault, it would be the old fossil boobs who is a senile coach who has lost it's fault.
I agree though, if we put Romo in and lost, then many here would probably commit suicide as their saviour would have proven not to be one.

I promise you this though, Romo can not make more mistakes than Bedsoe made yesterady.

What if we are up 4 TD's on Houston by halftime? Could we expect to see Romo out there in the second half or at least the 4th Quarter? Playing does not equal starting.

I would rather see Romo making the mistakes than Bledsoe.

Different point altogether.

If we are up 4 TD´s and Romo comes in, he will not throw a pass, that actually happened in the Titans game, I woudn´t consider that playing not the way Parcels has said Romo would play

Nope. I tell you it's pointless to dwell on it.

No.
We basically already know what we're getting with Bledsoe. Possibly a 9-7, 10-6 record, possibly a wild card. And then what?
We'll likely run into a Eagles team, a Panthers/Saints/Falcons team, a Bears team a Seahawks team with a better defense which will follow the same blueprint the Eagles, the Skins and every other defense and defensive coordinator with half a brain and half awareness knows: To beat the Cowboys offense, pressure Bledsoe.
At least with Romo, there's greater potential and the unknown factor because as he gets experience he may get better. And we know almost definitely going in he has better mobility than Bledsoe.
So what's there to lose?
We play Bledsoe and we finish 10-6/9-7 or we play Romo, keep the same conservative game plan as we did last year, make the offensive line run block more and ride his mobility and inexperience to who knows where, knowing that there's a possible payoff in the future.
We already know what we're going to get with Bledsoe. He aint gonna change and our offensive line is not going to magically become the 90s Cowboys unit.
So why not play the guy who gives you the best chance to win behind that line and who has the greater upside?
Nope. I tell you it's pointless to dwell on it.
I´m with you on that one, just wanted to see some thoughts.

Few see Romo as a savior. We see him, rather, as one who could possibly be better given experience.
We've seen what we have in Bledsoe. He's not going to change. He is what he is.
All we're saying is if the purpose for having Bledsoe is to win these games against the better teams and he's not doing it, let's give the new guy a chance to prove himself and maybe prove he has what it takes if given the chance and experience.
It's interesting that the Cardinals, who have one of the worst offensive lines and two great wide receivers, are playing Leinhart. Yeah, they're 1-4, but they're not totally out of the picture. And even so, they've seen all they have to see from Kurt "Butterfingers in Crime to Bledsoe" Warner.
Yes, Leinhart was a high draft choice, but Romo is a four-year veteran who has soaked up the Cowboys play book.
Give the kid a chance.
And no, even if he stinks, I don't want to go back to Bledsoe. He should be a reliever at this stage in his career.
Different point altogether.
My point is, Romo starting can not make more mistakes than Bledsoe is making, and I´d rather see Romo making those kind of mistakes and learning from them that seeing Bledsoe make them.

After seeing BP's reaction when pressed about making a QB switch during his press conference I wouldnt count on Romo seeing the field anytime soon.

We can only hope that Jones forces Parcells to start Romo and if he refuses then both him and Bledsoe can both pack their bags and hit the road. I'm tired of Parcells being an idiot and sticking with old washed up QB's like Vinny and Bledslow. We are screwed for many years to come if bill sticks with Bledslow the way he did with Vinny

Yeah then Jones can hire a slew of puppets like before and run the drafts so that we ensure we are crap for years to come.
Enough said, Parcells in his PC just about ruled out the possibility of making a QB change this week. Damn it.
