My friends and family all think I am crazy when it comes to the Cowboys. I scream, cuss, break stuff, threaten player's families, etc. throughout the course of a football game. Losing a game ruins my day...I can't eat, can't sleep, etc.
But then I come here and realize that there are thousands of people that have problems much worse than mine. Every single player and coach of this team is being thrashed. Everyone sucks. Every decision sucks. We are 9-7 at best this year. Everything about this team is ****.
Yet, very few want to acknowledge that we were playing a very good team in an incredibly hostile, emotional environment, and we played like complete CRAP...yet still could/should have tied the game at the end. Yet most here want to tear this team down and start over. Amazing.
Some of you really need to get a freakin' grip. The defending Super Bowl champs are 1-3. The defending NFC champs started 2-2 last year. There is so much of this season left. One game does not a season make.
Thanks for making me feel sane.

this thread is worthless without pics.
hey eman721, should have been at my place. I was doing a Tequila shot every time the Cowboys and my girfriends team the Cheifs scored.
I was one angry/spitting/yelling/pissed off guy.
and yes, everything sucks when the Cowboys lose, especially to those Peabrained Bugles

THis year is by no means over. I think a loss like this either gets you on track, or it sets the scene for the rest of the year. I hope it's the former, not the latter.
We were'nt going to sweep the division, and Id rather lose on the road than at home. 2-2 isnt so damn bad. This goes back to all of you guys who really thought we would have a cakewalk at Philly...THEY ARE GOOD. McNabb is a top 5 QB for a reason, he showed us yesterday.

Try posting during a game if you want a laugh.
We score a TD, Bledsoe is brilliant and Parcells the best coach ever. Get scored on and Bledsoe is just Chad Hutchinson and Parcells is "boobs"

You think? :laugh2: I agree. I can understand frustration, disappointment and even some angers what I don't get is the overall doom and gloom or the abandon ship crowd. I do know any time this team loses a game they are in full force. In the meantime let them vent evidently it seems to make them feel better and should this team start winning they will act like this never happened. :laugh2:

I don't mind people being upset at the game, hell I was burning as I watched, nor do I get upset at those who post here all the time, win lose or draw. What I do hate are those who just show up when we lose or who create new log in names to complain about the team when they lose.

I agree, imagine if Dallas tied it, went into OT and won. That would take the preverbial air out of the Philly balloon.
We hate and scream because we care.
I do the same.
But I do it without losing perspective (though my friends and family would disagree).
Being passionate and irrational during the game is expected. But continuing the ridiculousness the day after is just overkill.
I was literally talking about how I was going to blow up Drew Bledsoe's house last night. But I have calmed down and realized that our season isn't over. Some others should try that.

Yeah, no use crying over spilled milk...also, the Cowboys spotted the eagles 10 points and still almost won the game, on the road, in front of a hostile crowd...so, I'm not upset about losing that game...

Trust me, I completely understand that. I am the exact same way. Way too much of my life completely revolves around the Dallas Cowboys.
However, I just don't understand the constant second guessing and player/coach bashing that goes on after a loss. I prefer to look ahead rather than dwell on the past.
Our performance was pitiful yesterday. And several of the players and coaches are to blame. We took a big dump in the middle of the Linc yesterday.
But it's one game, folks. ONE GAME.

Reading all of the thread titles on this forum right now... ExtremeSkins is actually not too bad. At least they have a FEW people that will TRY to fight off the negativity... right now it seems like EVERYONE is going incredibly overboard with the blame, negativity, and criticism.
For me, yes I was very dissappointed in numerous players and things about the game, but it is more depressing and irritating to read the forums than it was to watch the game.
In the future, I'll probably make every attempt to stay away from the forums the week following a loss.

I feel the same way, and it is pretty sad. My first thought after the loss was, geez the media and the message boards are going to give me a headache from all the bellyaching over a game in week 5. It is october 8th for petes sake.
If this was week 14 and we just fell out of the playoffs from yesterdays game I would be really down in the dumps, but not october 8th.
Long way to go. It was an exciting game and they have to come here. The only thing I am worried about is Owens going banannas and causing a real problem, but he would never do that!!!
hey tek by the way, I am uploading an eagles cowboys game recap right now, check it out if you get a chance.

Canadian, I don't want to tear this team down, I want to see Jones get a coach in here that can do something w/ the talent we have. At least we are supposed to have talent.
BP wnet to the POs the first year he was here. We were creamed in that first PO game so what does BP do? He TOTALLY re-designs the Defense to a rarely used 3-4 (I can only think of Baltimore, San Diego, Pittsburg and us using it. Are there any others?) His reason is that it's easiere to find the players, but what about the Bears? Their D looks phenominal.
Same for the O. I was satonished to see the number of former players that are playing for other team. Even if they are just B/Us, they got a job. Some are starting for teams that are doing as well as we. I really believe (although I have no way of knowing), that BP "allowed" Jerry to sign TO in return for letting him cut Drew Henson. Henson may not be able to play a down, but I can'r help but believe that if there was no Henson on this team BP would have said "It's me or TO".
Fans that think this team is going to the POs when you can't wind tough games such as this on on the road, are just kidding themselves...
