View Full Version : IMHO, Romo won't see the field for awhile

In all likelihood, Drew will play well against the piss-poor Texans, which means he'll start against the Giants on Monday night. Let's say he performs poorly in that game. Our next two games are at Carolina and at Washington. No way Bill starts Romo in either of those difficult contests. The November 12th game at Arizona is the earliest target date for Tony.

I predicted a 9-7 season.

I still stand by it.

This team is not that good.

I think we go 10-6.

If I'm a college QB preparing to go pro, I'd be praying that I'm not selected by the Cowboys. Not as BP's still coaching this team.

Did Bledsoe actually suffer a concussion during the preseason game against the Vikes?

If so (and if it's true that it's easier to suffer from them once you've had your first one), then I think that's pretty much the best shot of Romo coming into a game.

I just hope Romo has it and gets a fair shot because we don't have jack after him. And if he doesn't pan out, we are screwed.

I think if Bledsoe keeps screwing up games, and Parcells doesn't pull him, the Jerry Jones and Parcells relationship will start to become an issue.. IMHO

I can envision that as well. It could become a catalyst for Parcells early exit if that were to occur. Parcells has 4 years and hasn't brought a playoff win so Jerry's probably getting the rectal itch.

Although Parcells has done a tremendous job rebuilding this team to where it will be competitive for years to come, ultimately, it's all about bringing the championship.

I don't get where this opinion has come from and I've seen it a lot the past couple of days.

1) Why do you think JJ wants Romo in?? What evidence do you have that is the case?

2) What evidence is there that JJ has anywhere near this level of influence in the everyday decisions of the head coach since BP got here?

JJ may have had something invested in Henson, but I don't think he's nearly as interested in seeing Romo get in there.

Here are the pass rushers Bledsoe will face over the next 5 games:

Mario Williams
Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyiora (add to that the Giants linebacking core of LaVar Arrington, Antonio Pierce, and Carlos Emmons)
Julius Peppers and Micheal Rucker

We get a one week break and then we get Dwight Freeney and company in their house.

With the blue print the Eagles laid out yesterday, you may see Romo sooner than you think.

UMM isnt Jerry the one in pre-season who said To be where we want to be at the end of the year we need Bledsoe in there and NOT Romo?

When are we going to replace McBriar?

Right after Rowdy is replaced.

Mario Williams is so good he has what 1 sack. The G-Men's De haven't been playing up to snuff either. I have some hope BP will change up his schemes based on who we are playing though yesterday leaves me in doubt.

This team is not that good.

No, this team has a QB that is easily rattled at this point. A QB who has done nothing but make innoportune mistakes.

The team is very good. Look at Bledsoe's numbers, and the fact that we were still in that game up to the very end.

And also remember, if we can survive our tough opening, we should be able to finnish strong.

At NY is going to be tough. And I think that will speak volumes about where Dallas is headed this year, especially at the QB position.

We have to win one of those road games and this Texans game.

Period. We need to survive, but also come out of htis stretch strong.
