I sure as heck am. With ESPN's constant focus on "the player", they're driving me nuts. Not sure how much NFLN is focusing on him but I sure miss the channel and Total Access. Any new news on the negotiations?

I wish TW would carry it, but from what they were saying, if they do put it on, it will be on one of those sports pay channels. You will have to pay extra for it.

TW's argument is why should everyone get it, even if they don't want it. My argument is that I don't care to have CSpan, 3-4 religious channels, 2-3 shopping channels and the infomercial channel, and I don't want them either, but still get them.

yet they still have the audacity to run a commercial about how time warner is the place to watch nfl football.

I hate them so bad.

I miss it... I miss all the great NFL Films shows they would play. And it was great being able to watch the condensed Replays of the game.

What I really miss... is the great On-Demand FOOTBALL content that Comcast used to offer. Cowboys Channel shows and NFL Network shows On-Demand was GREAT!

They need to get their butts in gear and get a deal done with the NFL. I don't want to have to pay extra for it... but I would certainly consider it if they would AT LEAST offer it.

You should have to use Comcast as I did in San Jose. For $51.81 you don't get as much as TW gives here in Beaumont for about $42.00...

Unfortunately I live in Hawaii where Time Warner has a monopoly on cable and their offerings are fine if you're a southern california sports fan. But if you want some good national coverage like the nfl network you have to either get a dish (I live with 4 people and they always veto it) or suck iy\t up and cracsh your friend's house who does have a dish (my option)

guys, TW is trying to downsize and sell it's self. watch, reason why they are not taking on new contracts with anyone.

besides, NFLN over charges everyone for their overhyped crap.

I've notice here in SA that there are a lot of commericals for Comcast. Maybe, just maybe there will be a switch to Comcast like there has been in other areas of the country...........

Hey what's wrong with wishful thinking?

Where can we find more information about this?

yea in NYC area.. we got no choice but to have time warner.. and the premium cable package is like 20 dollars more than the basic cable package and it only includes about espn 1 2 and classic.. so for 3 more channels i pay 20 dollars more.

this is my ejumicated guess, based on my over 25 years business experience. very typical of a company to make their numbers look good before sell or aquisition.

it is a guess, but I'll even put my money on it. This is one to watch, and I expect it to be very soon. they are trying to eliminate any long term liabilities, to sweeten the price, and make their bottom line look good.

Direct TV people!!! Stop moaning about something that isn't going to change and get Direct TV and the Sunday Ticket. Unless you live in an apartment without a southern view or have some other directional issues there is no reason to keep Time Warner. Myself, I have Direct TV (Sunday Ticket) and Time Warner for Internet.

"direcTV since 1996..... no, 95!!! Damn!!!!!"

With the Sunday Ticket I assume? Man I'm telling you, there is NO FREAKING WAY I could go without the Sunday Ticket now that I've had the service for a few years. Every year I debate that $200 payment, but quickly realize it's a must. The ability to pick ANY game is awesome, especially when your team isn't playing until Sunday night or Monday. I got tired of being stuck with whichever stinkers the networks decides to air.

I switched from Time Warner to DirecTV a couple of weeks ago for that very reason. I missed my NFLN.

dude, it is overpriced, but i did the math....

1. bought a keg for the fridge in the garage, $90. That is one Sunday at a bar's tab. keg lasts the whole season.

2. multiply 16 more weekends at a bar x $90. do the math

3. dealing with the nimrod bar manager and bartenders, to watch the game you want. someone put a dollar amount on that please....

4. I can watch 4 games in my Living room at the same time, totally my choice the one I want.

5. no Fist Fight potential with stooooopid Philly fan dorks at the bar, and a lawsuit to entail after I kicked his @$$ into Parkland Hospital......

TWC and Comcast bought out Adelphia cable and they're splitting up the assets. Some places Comast is taking over former TWC territory and other places it's vice-versa.
