Unbelievable, cnnsi runs a gallery of famous athletes who died in plane crashes and not one mention of the Munich tragedy, in which several members of the Manchester United squad were killed (including Duncan Edwards, a player reckoned to have been every bit as talented as George Best, Puskas, Distafano and Pele.) The narrow-mindedness of American news coverage can be stunning at times.

You see, I don't necessarily expect people on here to know of a guy like Duncan Edwards (however sad and tragic that may be), just like many don't know of Brooks Berringer (who of course, was mentioned.) But I do expect sports journalists to know their history, so people like you, may in turn be enlightened.
