So far I like what I have seen from Vinny, and especially the OL, and Keyshawn. I think the running game will come along. Vinny's experience is a plus.

I still maintain that Carter was set to have a big year here, and that he would have shut everyone up.

I can understand that the Organization says that they felt they could not count on Carter, That is very understandable. When you feel you cannot count on someone then you do what you feel like you have to do.

But saying this, I believe it from BP, but not Jones.

I don't see how we would have made it this year with Quincy's accuracy if our #1 receiver can't get as much separation as other wideouts. Vinny has been purposely throwing a lot of dive/jump balls to Keyshawn to make up for the limited separation room. I don't think Quincy would be making those throws.

We've upgraded the quarterback position, but that upgrade is going to need solid blocking to be very effective. George is an excellent blocker. Watch for Jones to take advantage of ever increasing rushing opportunities as the season wears on. A la Giants 1990.

All in all, I thought we passed well on their 1st team defense as well. I think VT had around 199 yards before the 2nd team came in.

Our problem hasn't been moving the ball on offense, it's been the costly interception and the stupid penalties.

All in all, I thought we passed well on their 1st team defense as well. I think VT had around 199 yards before the 2nd team came in.

Our problem hasn't been moving the ball on offense, it's been the costly interception and the stupid penalties.

Yeah, I don't think we did that bad against their first team defense either but as soon as the second team went in it was smooth sailing. I think our offense will be okay if Vinny's body can cut it all 16 games.

This is my first preseason game to watch with the Cowboys and I see why Eddie George is the starter. Any advantages Julius Jones has with his speed are nullified because George is pretty darn good at pass protection from what I saw this game.

JJ's first run of only 2 yards was better than any run I saw from EG...JJ stuck it in there hard and got the 2....EG is dancing and looking for an opening which is silly since the defense will get to it long before he does.

I'm very very concerned with the defense...I was concerned by what I'd read...now that I've seen it, we still have a problem getting a pass rush without the blitz, we don't shut the run down, and our RC is going to be a bullseye target for every QB...Wiley and Ellis don't even get close to the QB, and that's man on man blocking for the most part.

Not being a homer here but I didn 't see any contact on that play. If their was contact it was after Hunter had turned around and looked for the ball.

Have a feeling the NFL offenses are going to break out this year because of the diffensive rules.

The WR just changed direction and ran right in Hunter, and Hunter got the flag, that's bull****...

I think the pass protection so far has vastly improved over last year. And moving VT around in the pocket will keep him from being a stationary target.

KJ is definitely going to help keep the chains moving.

You have to give the the Titans OL it's props, it is a very very good OL and experienced.

BP has been expressing the same concerns over the past couple of weeks.

It's weird that we basically lose Woody for the time being, replace Mario and Willie Blade, and Ekuban, and we have a fall-off.

I think the replacements for Mario, Blade, and Ekuban are (will be) an improvement.

The offense looked very good, major props to the OL because a good defense did not get a whiff of Vinny.

Too many penalties and a great play by Bullock on the INT.

Powell and Dixon had no idea the pass was coming. Powell at least had okay coverage. An average safety picks off the pass on Dixon's play. The PI on Hunter was questionable. There was contact, but the WR caused it on a pass that had zero chance of being caught. If they are going to call it like that DBs have no chance.

I would have liked to see us try to bang it in there on 4th down at the end; it is preseason, so why not?
