Troy:
Things are really going well for NO this year. I know Dallas is America's Team, but this year it is NO. I really like Payton and have known him for a few years. They've played well but I didn't think they matched up well against Philly, but they did pull it out.
You can obviously see some of Parcell's style in Payton's coaching. I know Bledsoe liked Sean alot, but I don't know that it affects his performance.
Skipped lots of other NFL talk here...
The Giants were pretty much left for dead a couple of weeks ago, they were giving up big plays and only had 2 sacks in the first 3 games. They have now had 10 sacks in their victories. They are a good footabll team when they play together.
This will be a good test for the Cowboys. I still think the Cowboys are a really good team. They are solid at all positions. It's a game Dallas should win if they play well.
In regards to my ratings, (http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67333) those aren't just pulled out of a hat. It is a pretty accurate measurement to who is playing well. Dallas is a very good team and they don't have alot of holes. The OL struggles at times but have played well for the most part. Dallas is strong on defense, RB, WR, QB. In Dallas we tend to focus on what the Cowboys aren't doing well as opposed to the good things they are doing.
I think Bill Parcells has done a really good job with this team. Whether he chooses to leave after this year or stay, I think he has built a team that should be really good for a while.

I agree with Troy that Parcells has built a very good team. But, I wouldn't call out the QB position as one of our strengths. In fact, if Bledsoe doesn't find a little more consistency, it may become a weakness.

That goes on in just about every city with a sports franchise.

Yep...but I have a feeling it is dialed up a notch for the Cowboys.

True.

Professional Sports-wise, I doubt it is any different then Green Bay, New York, Philly, Boston, Chicago, etc etc. I could add a dozen more cities if we want to go down to the college and even highschool.

It just seems like it is in Dallas because that is the city the team this message board is devoted plays in.

Boy that's the truth.

Troy is as guilty as any. Watching his coverage of us, he goes out of his way to appear objective, and appears negatively biased in the process.
