Here you go (I was a minute late)…

• Tiki is main player in screen plays. Most dangerous player. Balanced attack team. Can run & throw.
• Giants are a balanced team. Pass & throw equally. 1 or 2 games there a year requires being able to run the ball, since weather hinders throwing.
• Don’t know how they’re going to attack us.
• Eli knows offense better, but O is still the same as last years.
• Our D has played a little up and down. Don’t know if D can be dominant, but thinks D can be efficient. We have strengths, but not across the board. We need to get better in some places; we don’t have catalytic players across the board.
• Would you consider DeMarcus a catalytic player? No, not yet. I wouldn’t put him in that category yet. Roy is a catalytic player, but DeMarcus has to be more consistent to be that. He’s still a little raw.
• We can’t leave all our players in to block. We need our players out in patterns. If we can’t block them, then we’re in trouble. We can give Oline some help, but at the end of the day, we have to block them.
• Ellis is good kid. He didn’t have the same vision that BP had originally. He just needed some convincing. Once he saw it, he got it. Told Ellis he wasn’t going anywhere earlier in the year, so that’s it.
• No decision on Coleman yet. Waiting to see how Keith Davis responds. Told Keith he has to be at full speed. KD is doing better than yesterday. Could take both players, but doesn’t want to.
• 1st down yardage given up concerns him a little, but we’re not an attacking D on 1st downs.
• Doesn’t know if Sklar will return punts this week. Still some moving parts. Wait till later in the week for a decision.
• Told NY media that he likes Austin. Told NY media that Austin may play this week, but has the right to change his mind. Austin is big, fast, and eager. He’s green but you can’t not (double negative) like coaching them. Likes his young receivers Austin & Hurd.
• QB’s are taught to adjust in the pocket. (Talked about the fallacy of mobile qbs) Carr is mobile, but had 76? Sacks. QB before him (?), another mobile qb, led the leagues in sacks before Carr. QBs that can’t throw the ball away will get sacks, it’s not a question of mobility. But the qb can’t be indescrimiate where he throws it. He can’t just sling the “son of a *****.” Whoops! Sorry, I’m coaching again. I’m done.

I am not sure about this guys, but the WR we just added, is 6-3, 212, not sure of his speed in 40. I check the sites for any info on him. It stated that even being thin at WR, they released WR Jerheme Urban because he has a stess fracture in his foot, didnt the cowboys check that out?

No, not today. I didn't see or hear Werder at all during the PC. If you get a chance though, watch the last 45 seconds or so of the PC. The end of it is pretty funny.

I don't post a ton, but I genuinely appreciate you folks who post the recaps. I learn more from all of you than I ever could from the "reporters."

Thanks.

I must have missed the part about Roy.
he was asked about Ware being a dominant player and he said no, Roy is a catalytic player but not Ware.. and a few days ago, he compared Roy to Ronnie Lott and called him a catalytic player then too.. for Bill to compare a modern guy, especially his own player, to an NFL legend is huge.. Bill has a high regard for legends of the past and hates comparing modern guys to them..

About the mobile QB's?
was the answer to his question Cunningham? I heard laughing and thought maybe there was another name/answer to that question

thanks

It was right after that when someone asked if you can teach DB how to move around in the pocket. He answered by saying you can't just sit back and sling the son of a *****. He then catches himself and walks out. It's pretty funny how it all played out. Go to about the 15 minute mark.

Me too. If he loves him, he sure has a horrible way of showing it.

Me too. If he loves him, he sure has a horrible way of showing it.

Coach Parcells has praised him at nearly every opportunity and has defending him against attacks (the Moss TDs and the mistakes against Philadelphia). I have yet to hear him say anything remotely negative about him. Just because he doesn't go out of his way to praise him (even though he has repeatedly said he is one of those he never has to worry about) doesn't mean he isn't very appreciative of him.

He’s still a little raw.

we forget all the things he's had to overcome, small-school competition, college DE

and sounds like Bill isn't happy w/ how the D is just yet, which is good, cuz it could be better

I agree.

I am guilty as anyone else, I suppose.

I thought our defense would be much more solid than it has shown. Overall, there appear to be too many mental errors in the secondary and honestly, I cannot say what is going on with the front seven as we don't appear to be doing anything exceptionally well. When your best and most noteable player in a 3-4 is your nose tackle, you are doing something wrong.

I know it is more fashionable to pick at Drew Bledsoe when we lose, but the defense has not done well in our two losses either.

no doubt, I guess they're not completely comfortable w/ the 34 just yet, and we have alot of youth on D, esp. at FS, I hope they start clicking Monday night
