IRVING, Texas -- Vinny Testaverde found the fountain of youth in his home preseason debut against the Tennessee Titans, marching the Cowboys downfield for a late field goal to enter halftime trailing 14-13 Monday night.

Testaverde, 17-of-24 for 240 yards, worked the two-minute drill to set up Billy Cundiff's field goal shortly after Tennessee scored the go-ahead touchdown with 1:13 left in the half.

Tennessee's scoring drive, set up by receiver Tramon Douglas' 62-yard reception over Cowboys safety Tony Dixon, was capped off by a one-yard score from running back Antowain Smith.

The Cowboys had taken a 10-7 lead after Testaverde connected with tight end Dan Campbell for a 17-yard touchdown in the second quarter, the first touchdown by the Cowboys' starting offense this preseason.

The three-play, 66-yard scoring drive was set up by a 38-yard completion to receiver Terry Glenn, coming two plays after defensive end Eric Ogbogu blocked Titans kicker Joe Nedney's 46-yard field goal attempt.

On the Cowboys' previous possession, they marched downfield but committed a critical red-zone turnover, ending a potential scoring drive. Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck intercepted Testaverde at the two-yard line.

Other than the one miscue, the Cowboys' first-team offense played the majority of the first half relatively error free.

The Cowboys' first-team defense struggled early for yet another week though, allowing a seven-play, 72-yard scoring drive by Tennessee on their opening possession.

Having stopped Tennessee on third down, an offside penalty called on defensive tackle La'Roi Glover kept the Titans' drive alive, which was capped off by an 18-yard touchdown run by running back Chris Brown.

Brown, replacing new Cowboys running back Eddie George (four carries, three yards) as the Titans' starting back, fared better than his predecessor, rushing eight times for 35 yards in the first half.

Cowboys' newcomer Keyshawn Johnson did play a significant role in the first half though, catching eight passes for 81 yards.

The Cowboys might have avoided their biggest scare of the first half, when Pro Bowl offensive tackle Flozell Adams went down with an apparent knee injury, but returned two plays later.

Sorry but line depth has been a problem for years now. This year I will be a fearless fan. The boys will be both durable and deep. Thats my story and I will stick to it and save my lower GI tract a lot of burns. (%

It point of fact Reality paragraph 6 is two lines. Makes it is easier to add or subtract for the editor prior to publication. Now when Dale gets his by-line annddd picture he can use complex and multiple sentences per para.

I can see no one else here but me is looking for cheer leader pics. What good is a press box or standing with the team if you cannot get good pics?
