Did anyone notice the guy sitting behind Jerry Jones in his box? Guy had on the same type of headset the coaching staff wears and was reading something off a laminated list to Jerry.
That was what I thought it was..........wasn't it?
I had never noticed that before.
Is that a new thing?

I am guessing it is a "receive only" headset. Jerry wants to know the plays. The guy took it off when they went to defense.

I also noticed that the guy sitting behind Jerry Jones took the headset off the second he realized that he was on Nationlal Tv.

I'm sure it was "receive/only" and he couldn't take it off fast enough once he knew he was on TV.
No way JJ wants that out in every paper in America.

I noticed Lacewell was sitting next to Jerry giving input on player evaluations.
It would scare me more if the general manager of our football team was completely uninvolved and in the dark.

The bigger question is it legal to have that headset?

So don't let him screw it up!
It only takes one aws*** to wipe out 100 attaboys.
He needs to stay and do exactly what he's been doing.
I don't have a problem with his listening in though.
Seeing that was an astute observation. Kudos.

I guess when you have so little it's important to keep all where it belongs. It's better than a nervous tic.

I don't even remember which team now (was it JJ?), but how about the dude/trainer type guy who took his hand and squeegied off the hurt bald player's head and then wiped it on his pants as they were walking off the field......classic.

You guys know NOTHING about football! That guy is Dick Hertz, he's the Entertainment Coordinator - the laminated placard is Rowdy's first 15 scripted bits.
Since Jerruh was locked out of the locker room, he has been demanding more and more hands-on responsibility for the team. Tuna assigned him as special assistant to Hertz. Rowdy can't make a move now, until the skit is selected by Jerruh and relayed through Dick.

I noticed that too.
It was when JJones was being lead off of the field.
