Sorry....really corny title to the post there.

But it's applicable to Boy's fans right now.

No doubt about it, we're in a time of trial. We have a 1-2 record in the division. We were embarrassed on a Monday night. We have an unproven QB at the helm. T.O. is always an adventure. We haven't been to the playoffs in three seasons. We haven't won a playoff game since 1996.

Whew.....the past few seasons have been tough on us as fans. It seems we're on the cusp of being good, but something always holds us back.

Tonight, we hitch our wagon to Tony Romo. In a way, this is an exciting time. We get to see our possible future.....or it's back to the ol' drawing board again.

Our fan base gets railed time and again by sportscasters and by opposing fans. They call us "frontrunners" or "bandwaggoners".

I don't understand how we "earn" this label. Our messageboards are constantly filled with fans that live and breathe this team....yet, we've had very little to cheer about the past ten years.

Just remember.....we have quite a legacy....and no matter what happens tonight, our team will sooner or later take their rightful place at the top of the NFC.

Sorry for the rant.....just had to get it off my chest.

Yes, I cant help but feel as excited as I did the day we drafted Quincy Carter. It was the last time the Cowboys were so sure that we had a future QB.

I remember thinking Quincy will do well. He avoids the rush and gets out of the pocket to make plays. He has "moxie"!

It feels good to be that excited again!

No wonder my shoes wore out and I had to buy a new pair .. Why don't they put this kind of thing on the news?

I love this forum. Especially when there's a goof, and the goofer takes the ribbing so well.

I don't think Troy hates the Cowboys I think he just calls them how he sees them. But I remember he came back to lobby for a new stadium in Dallas and whatnot so I think Troy just wants to be impartial.

1-15, and three 5-15 season are what try my soul.

I've enjoyed this season so far, and now with Romo starting at QB, I know I'll enjoy the rest of the year, whether we win or lose, the guy is entertaining.

Same feeling here. We keep gambling our future on "moxie".
