There needs to be a fine on that hit. Just terrible. That is why refs are so picky about protecting players.

That stinks....such a late tackle out of bounds.....Thompson had let up on the play......what will we do now for a KO returner?

I know a lot of people Dog Tyson's kick returns. But he always seems to get us to around the 30, which isnt bad starting position. I dont see him as a homerun threat per say, but he seems to get us good field position. This stinks.

Skyler Green to take over his role>?
Either way that was a cheap shot...

I realize that I'm stating the obvious but damn, this really sucks. I thought we made it out of this game victorious and unscathed by injuries. In all the hoopla from celebrating this incredible victory by our Cowboys, we all completely missed noticing Thompson got hurt late in the game until Parcells pointed it out in his pc.
Bummer...:bang2:

With all the fines going around, that needs to be a big one  I would guess Green steps since he I believe he has practiced some at running back.

as much as i dislike TT at times on returns, i hate the idea that Green might be the one to replace him

Yeah well how many teams are going to miss a #3 RB on the depth chart...

Should be a fine coming down from the league for that late hit this week.

Ugh, you hate seeing anyone injured.
You REALLY hate someone on your team getting injured on a cheap shot.

Yeah the guy that tackled thompson better get a nice fine. He not only tackled him out of bounds but he rode him to the ground like a horse.
On another note get well soon Tyson.

I'm glad they converted Skyler to RB earlier in the season.

Although I'm not a huge fan of Thompson returning kickoffs because of his lack of juke and cut back ability, they guy did have a huge run to put the Cowboys in good field position! I'm mad that play even occured because he was clearly out of bounds!

It sucks, but this is sustainable. We just better hope Barber and JJ stay healthy.

who becomes the 3rd back?

Without a RB tucked away on the practice squad, we may go with only 2.

I really hate that for Tyson. He does a good job of running hard and getting this team in good field position. In fact, from the naked eye, he seems to be one of the best. We always seem to start around the 30-35 yard line. I do think that people get frustrated with him not being as agile when it comes to making guys miss, but as a straight-line guy, he does a heck of job.
My best guess would be that Skyler Green gets put to work now. I assume that Green becomes the new third running back as well.

We'll need Skyler Green to step up now. This is why we have depth, and this is why we drafted the guy. He needs to show us that he was worth the 4th round draft pick we spent on him.

who becomes the 3rd back? They may bring Lousaka Polite back. Or Keylon Kincade or Demetrius Summers might get a call. Skylar Green has been mentioned though I'm not sure hoiw much we'd use him at RB even in garbage time. We might roll the dice with 2 RBs for a while. I don't think we kept a RB on the Practice Squad, but I could be wrong.
It just really sucks the way he got hurt.
