A sign :) ????Good way of avoiding the Dallas Cowboys superiority. Admit that the eagles are inferior, or I will remind you every day. Ill make it into a thread.

Does it bother anyone else that the Boys' D-backs never know where the ball is? They never steal a glance at the ball, keeping the eye on the receiver all the time. I mean, it gives them a great view of the guy making a catch, but doesn't do anything to prevent him from making a catch, except for the obvious interference penalty, which they become more likely to commit. The DB coaches must be teaching them to play that way, but our old coaches taught that the player who knows where the ball is always has an advantage over one who doesn't. If you wonder why the Boys interception rate is low, there is your answer, though it's kinda hard to complain much about the #1 defense in the league last year.
I'm sure the coaches know more about it than I, but I think it is easier for a db to knock down or intercept a ball if you know where it is at the moment - it's called defensing a play. Watching someone catch a ball is called observing - fans usually do it from the stands. I know an experienced db can read a receiver and know when to react, but I was always more comfortable knowing where the ball was. Maybe we're just seeing inexperienced young players learn from their mistakes.
I feel better now.

That goes hand in hand with the new Super Bowl DVD set featuring the Iggles.
