Are not even playing in the same neighborhood talent wise with Law. It was wise to pass back in FA, see if our utes could do it (not looking good NOW) I understand deeper why Parcells flew Davison back to camp after he quit:)

We have the Cap room to squeeze Law in. Blockbuster in the works? :p

Its not yet a "book it" - but if this happens its by weeks end.

I would add the QB killer Vincent to that mix...

In reality I think Powell will be ok... he is there on coverage, he just needs to react to the ball...

That being said... he will probably hurt us a few times until he gets it... but I do like the fact he is always there... and BP agrees with me... ;)

I think McKenzie is the bigger option.

BG drafted 2 young CBs and doesnt wanna pay McKenzie any more cash than he already makes. He cant be in top form and might not be worth his current salary early in the year. GB could probably use an OT with lots of upside like Vollers or Tucker.

Nors since you are so sure, show us ONE Poston brothers client with a cap friendly contract.

One, I can show at least 10 that are not, including most of those that held out through this preseason.

Salary Cap problems for NE or not, you don't get a CB like Law for nothing...I'm afraid we'd have to give up something big or even a top draft pick...how much does he have left in the tank? I think I'd try to crawl through and draft one in round 1 or pay for a younger FA.

I'm cool if they'd take Vollers and a 5th or lower for him.

McKenzie makes some plays... and is a "good" cb... but I am scared of him regarding the new rules... he feels up every WR he plays against... and given the fact he hasn't played in a while and missed TC... he may even rely more on that technique...

That would make us see yellow too much I think... and you know how Ed Hercules likes to flex his biceps on national TV...
