Butch Davis? Are you serious?
If so, I vote for him. The Cowboys would be terrible with that hack at the helm.

hah i'm with you on that one, jimmy always preferred speed and quickness over size and versatility tho, we would basically have to re-structure the whole team again

Jimmy Johnsons or Fisher are the only two that could put some fire in this team and keep the ego's in check....But Jimmy's done and Fisher is not going no where...

This is going to sound crazy, but Jim Burt. Did you see him during the Carolina game? He looks like a head coach . . .
Say you keep Parcells on as a Personnel Consultant/Assistant GM, if he has the right staff I think he could do it . . .
Feel free to tell me that I am nuts though . . . :D

The team play is a direct reflection of how it is coached.
Sloppiness and dumb penalties are the result of poor coaching.
Watch the good teams and you won't see them beating themselves with dumb mistakes and taking stupid penalties.
The penalty problem with this team is out of hand.
That is on the coaches.I know they don't dress up and play, but what the players do on the field is a reflection of problems not corrected in practice.

Thanks I needed the kick in the but . . . I am now back to reality . . .
Knowing Jerry when he covets someone, Jeff Fischer will get the job.
Parcells stays on as Personnel Consultant . . .
The good news about this is he probably brings over Norm Chow as Offensive Coordinator.

It's a bad feeling...
He coached the Jets in 1994 and was fired after one season with a 6-10 record.

I'd love to see Danny White back with the organization some how but I don't think he'd be a good nfl hc.
As for that list I'd take Fisher also. Jimmy isn't coming back so everyone should stop dreaming about '92.

Do coaches get fired every year? Yes they do. Have they ever missed a tackle, committed a penalty, dropped a pass and so on and so forth the answer is no. Yet they still get fired. I am not saying at this point that BP needs to be fired, but if you do not think he should shoulder some of the blame then I have to disagree.
Dallas is exactly one game over .500 since he came here. He has not done an excellent job by any strectch of the imagination.

Thats true, but BP in not the coach he used to be. He doesn't seem to have that fire like he did in NY or NE. I kinda feel at this point he might just be collecting a check. I would love to see Johnson come back, but it will not happen. My money says the Titans use that contract clause on Fisher and not let him go anywhere for free. Not sure if the Cowboys can afford to give picks for a coach when the Oline and recieving core need some youthful talent.
