Living in DC area (N. Va), losing the game like we did today, I would be totally pissed off and feel like crap all week. I don't feel as bad today and I think it's because I was more afraid of T. Romo playing like crap and be disappointed than us losing the game.
Don't get me wrong. I'm still pissed off that we did lose but at least I feel very goo that we have finally found a QB of the future. I feel T. Romo is the real deal and I belive he'll just get better and better. Hopefully the rest of the team does the same.

I can't say I really agree. I was sick to my stomach for about 2 hours taking the knife out of my gut. However, Romo did play great and thus still gives me hope for the season, which I hope is a good thing.

I feel the same way. Upset about another bonehead loss, but really optimistic about Romo's playmaking ability. He did it under extreme pressure. I only remember a couple of mistakes - a sack he shouldn't have taken and an incomplete short pass (to Witten?) that was almost picked off. He put that one in the wrong spot. Other than that, Romo deserves an A+ today. Too bad I can't say the same for his teammates.

Good post. Keep a stiff upper lip. It'll get better. Much better.

It was an entertaining game with an ending that I simply cannot believe. It's an odd shaped ball that sometimes bounces funny. That's why I love this game.
I hate losing, but I appreciate the way the QB played and take some solace in that.

I feel the same as you. I was more worried about some other huge glaring let down. At least I won't have to watch sports shows until next week.:D

That is the bright side for you all. Your QB does look like the real deal. He should be able to contribute for years to come.
Now, just wait until you start interacting with skins fans, I bet they will keep remindin you of the game all week.

Skins' fans shouldn't gloat over this win. They looked like crap also and got an early Christmas present. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it.

I agree 100% percent. I am disappointed with the result, but not down in the dumps like I would normally be. This was an NFC East road game, tough fought, and really our team was beat on a few fluke plays. This loss may hurt in December when the final tally is taken, but it's not near the season killer that many on this board would make it out to be.
I was actually quite encouraged by how Romo played today.

Lucky you. All I'm going to hear all next week is how the Deadskins are going to the SB and how they soundly beat us.

Don't worry. I'm pissed off enough for you, me, and most of the football-watching public.

I've said it before and i'll say it again. If we come out of this year with 1 thing, and that 1 thing is a franchise QB, it will have been a roaringly successful season. It looks as though we have found our QB and for that i thank God!!!
I still hate this loss and what it says about this team, outside of Antonio Ramiro Romo.
Dang Commish!! He wanted parity and it looks as though he has it with 7 8-8 (maybe 8 if Seattle loses) teams at the halfway point.

I feel the same way, SBC. I usually spend the week after avoiding all sports programming and moping around in a really dark mood. Not so much today. I think a lot of it has to do with Romo, but I think Miami's domination of Chicago at Soldier Field and Detroit pounding Atlanta is having something to do with it too.

You are soooo right, the only bright shinning start today is none other then ROMO!

Yeah I was happy the way Romo played. He took all that vaunted Gregg Williams pressure and made it look like a walk in the park.
I still cannot believe the game ended the way it did. Kind of like the 1997 home game against the Eagles or the 1983 game against New Orleans but in a bad way.
