Parcells said he will start the season with his punter, likely Matt McBriar, as the holder on place kicks, something he's never done in his coaching career.

And its not Henson :p

He said FOR NOW, and he plans on using Henson. He followed that up with the only reason he's using McBriar is because he has time to practice. Parcells said he is getting 300 snaps a day, Henson does not have that kind of practice time.

With Vinny getting most of the practice snaps at QB, Henson will be free to work more on holding. Henson will be holding by the bye week, COUNT ON IT.

Henson not holding to start season declared, Punter getting 300 reps, Henson none. Henson never did it, but will catch up by Bye week? Go for it Zebra, you are on a ledge!

PS: Read Parcells books - I'm off to listen to PC and hear what he exactly said.

Didn't Gowin handle placekicks last season, till he got cut?
