Howie Long, was never a raiders fan but I did enjoy watching him play and thinks he does a good job on FOX along with Terry, JB and Jimmy I think they all do a good job. They do not take everything so seriously and treat football for what it is "A Game" and they have fun with it.

Exactly.
My vote is for them as a team, rather than as individuals. JB is the straight man, Terry is the cut-up, Jimmy is the brains, and Howie is the football-tough-guy. The result is entertaining, and insightful.

Well I even like old Terry, now when he was playing I thought he was a jerk but since he has retired and is sitting in the studio or doing a movie I just get a kick out of Bradshaw. Funny thing is I loved wathing Joe Namath but hated him as when calling a game same with Todd Christianson. They took the fun out of the game sitting in the booth.
CBS should be better now that Deion is gone. :cool:Yeah, now they only have 3 guys to go.

Thanks for that info. I was wondering why Nantz was doing the preseason game with Simms. Has sweet Bonnie Bernstein been moved up to first team sideline too?

I like what each of them contribute.
I think Howie Long is way under rated as an analyst. I listen closely to everything he says.
Jimmy is a great teacher and is very candid.
Bradshaw plays the foil but he also does some good interviews and has strong opinions.
The best however, is JB. Excuse the theft, but he truly drives the bus. He's good humored, has a great mastery of the show content and geneally leads the discussion perfectly just about every week. IMNSHO, he's the best host of any sports show anywhere.
Oh yeah, I like Frank Caliendo better than Jimmy Kimmel. No opinion on Jillian.

I like 'em all, honestly if I am going to watch a pre-game show, it's always FOX. My Sunday morning TV routine: 11am-noon ESPN, noon to 1pm FOX. I might watch CBS a little bit this year now that Deion is gone.

JB and howie can be taken seriously - so any competition is between them. bradshaw is there for comic relief. he delivers. the guy's so dumb yet self-effacing he is endearing. jimmy is a great coach but lacks studio charisma. he doesn't translate well as a studio analyst. howie just mesmerizes with his player's perspective combined with an intense-yet playful delivery. howie is the man who will succeed madden.
