Mickey:

I think yesterday was pretty much what most expected, although I don't think anyone thought they would be that dominant.
Ellis is scheduled for surgery tomorrow. With all of the things he does for this team, it may take 2-3 guys to take his place. He not only covers receivers, he also becomes a hand on the ground lineman. Maybe Carpenter can, I know Als can't. Hatcher will likely come in as a rusher on third down. Parcells also mentioned today that Glymph may get a look. Dallas just doesn't have a guy as versatile as Ellis.
To this point Dallas was lucky to say Thompson was the worst injury. He plays 55 plays a game at times.
Both of the team captains aren't playing now.
Burnett has been playing the right side because they like his speed and he doesn't have to worry with the TE over there. I kind of got the feeling Parcells wants to leave him where he is.
You have to have guys step up now, and that's what all of the guys in the locker room were talking about last night.

Ellis had just taken on an additional role in the Cardinals game. He was lined up at essentially DT in the nickle a few times with Ware playing to his outside at DE in the 4-2-5 alignment. I noticed it and then read Spags comments about it as well. It very well could have been used a lot this weekend. And people say that Zimmer doesn't move guys around to try and create mismatches.
