So with them apparantly having spoken with one another at various points this season, also arranging the exchange of scouts in Training Camp, you think BB gives BP any advice for the Colts game? Would only benefit NE to see this happen. Kind of a dumb post, but I just wonder if anyone has heard of the two doing this?

I do believe that BP is picking Belichick's brain, at least from the standpoint of the proper defense against the Colts. I don't believe that we have the schemes in the 3-4 to play like New England, though
Amazing that the pats had a chance to win a couple of weeks ago, even with Brady throwing lots of picks.
Do note that Manning always struggles vs. the 3-4 defense.

In fact I think it's one of the better questions asked recently amidst a lot of bluster.
Yes, I think Parcells should ask for as much advice as he can from him in addition to film.

I jsut feel dumb posting it, because I tend not to specualte on things such as this. But I figured since the two are on speaking terms and have spoken this year, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to speak to the guy who is one of the few to have Manning's number the last couple of seasons.

I have a feeling that Parcells has a hot button on his phone to Belichick's office, and he is using it regularly this week.
Parcells will probably send flowers and candy if we win this game.

Not a dumb post at all. I think you are spot on in that Parcells is probably picking up a few things from BB.

'Cause I dont know how to spell his name, so I might as well make it a "comical" spelling error

This is stuff we should think about and discuss. Damn good post and thread IMO and I hope it gets a lot of hits and discussion.

i dont think its a dumb post at all, its a very good question and i actually think it would be really dumb of BP not to get some insight from BB on the colts :)

Does anyone have any of the tapes of those games? That would be something interesting to watch this week. Colts Pats matchups. Or last year, Indy vs San Diego.

From what I've seen and heard, Buffalo went straight at Indy's front 7, who are all undersized, sans McFarland. Offensively I think we know what to do.
Defensively is another story. I think you just have to mix it up. We definately need to blitz to get to Peyton, but I think we just need to switch it up.
At least he has historically struggled vs the 3-4.

That is a great question--not dumb!
Yes, I hope they are talking....we can use all the assistance we can get for this big game

I don't think there is a doubt he is either asking beleChick some tactic pointers or just talking scenarios.
Then again, the Pats havn't been able to get inside Peytons head the past two years.
beleChick is such a wuss though, I mean this crap with Mangini and others who left...the nickname in the title is almost perfect for how he is acting.

What is wrong with this board? Everyone keeps propping the thread starter. It was a dumb post. It didn't mention T.O., T.O/Haley, Barber should start, bring back Bledsoe, Roy sucks, Zimmer sucks or any of the main stays of this board. We don't need logical, well thought out questions in this forumn. Save your smarts for some other board.

The Patriots stand to gain from the Cowboys beating Indy, so you would think that Little Bill would give any helpful hints freely to Big Bill.

He should be calling Dick Jauron in Buffalo. They played to Colts a lot better than NE did. Billichik could only tell Parcells what not to do at this point :D

BP should asking Billichik to come back as an assistant so he can ride his coat tails to another SB win. He's never won a SB without Billichik but Billichik has 3 without Parcells.

Ahhh, but this is any given Sunday. Belichick has been able to consistently stop Manning for many years. Jauron figured it out this past weekend.
Besides, even with Brady throwing lots of picks against the Colts a couple of weeks ago, they only lost by a TD.
If Brady had his head on straight, the Pats win that game.

The Patriots always seem to game plan the Colts well. I'd take my advice from the Pats.
