I'm judging on the 9 games he's played as a pro. Or at least the 9 games he was on an NFL roster - b/c you know, he didn't get to play in all of them

When I saw Carp come into the game, he seemed tentative. Though I don't know that lining him up over an OT was wise. Didn't seem he was using the instincts that he showed at OSU. Hopefully that will change if he does get going with the first team defense this week.

Burnett still looks like the most natural outside linebacker we have...

Blah blah blah. If he hasn't had any playing time what are you judging? Take a minute and think about that. The kid couldn't get in. Isn't that more of a testament to the talent in front of him then a reflection on him. Finally giving Parcels history on handling LB's it's obvious he will not let you on the field until he absolutlty sure you will not make a bonehead "Rookie " mistake.
Seriously this use to be the best message board on the Web about 3 yrs ago. Now the things people post just turn my stomach. Seams like everybody wants to be the first to say I told you so. You can see this with all the reporting that is going on in the media and it has now trickled down to this board.
It's really strange and I can't put my finger on it. Maybe I use to be naive or maybe I didn't notice it. Didn't Chris Berman and the rest of the ESPN crew use to have a clue or insight. Now it seams everybody over exagerates the obvious. EX. A team wins a couple games they are Super Bowl bound then they struggle, well now thier QB is clueless and they are in trouble because the latest Flavor of the month is hotter. Of course I am talking about the Bears and they just spanked That other team the Giants. It's all about Hype nowadays and it's sickning everybody is talking out of thier . During MVP talks Tiki has been mentioned come on he has 1 TD all year give me a break.
I guess what I am trying to say is people especially on this board should think before they type. "I am judging him on the last 9 games" Do you even realize how ridiculous you sound. All you did was take a "Cheap" shot the kid is going to be a great Cowboy just like Burnett is going to be and just like Brady is now. Come on everybody 2 important rules. Think and don't believe the hype

I think Mike Hart will be the key if Michigan pulls out a win.
look the kid was excellent in college he was a first round pick, his naturalposition is left linebacker, this is his chance,i believe he can handle it.;)

Maybe in the nickel..yes.
He looks like an OLB to me...
Always has...he's got a lot of speed and quickness...I think he could get around a OT with that speed. I don't know if he's got enough weight to consistently handle the inside.

he's a sideline-to-sideline player, running around at the LILB spot, where BIll was going to put Dat, seems like Burnett's best position IMO
