Lemme paint the pciture for ya ....
Sunday rolls around - you're fired up...Turkey Day is right round the corner....two juicy Cowboys games in 4 days time...coming off a feel good trouncing of the AZ Cards.....
You got that bounce in your step as you put your Jay Novacek SundayBest Jersey on...some of you head to your favorite seat...with your favorite Bevarage of choice - some lucky enough to get to the Big Stadium and see America's Team live...
You think we're gonna be the team to knock the Colts off, who've squeaked by the last few...do for an "L" sooner or later...right?
Kickoff comes...the wife is out the house or your significant other... Colts get the ball to the Cowboys 37 ....
Manning comes out....play clock running down as he overlooks the defense , audible, adudible.....back to pass....BAM...Ben Utect WIDE OPEN down the right seam with Number 54 trailing behind...Gain of 39 ....Manning back to pass....BAM gain of 18 on an unstoppable comeback route to Reggie Wayne...Henry nowhere to be found....Next play ....Screen to Joseph Addai to Carp's side....Touchdown.....7-0 63 yards in 3 plays....
Cowboys ...3 and out v an improving defense.....Punt to the Colts 30 return to the Colts 42 ...1st play ...4 WR set...Cowboys scramble....Wayne Splits Henry and Roy ....Henry pulls him.down PASS INTERFEARENCE #42 ...ball on the 17 YD line - next play - play action - Dallas Clark WideOpen at the 4...walks in ...Touchdown....14-0 ....
NOT SAYING WE WILL LOSE AT ALL....AT ALL.....
BUT
This is what we're up against ...a machine....a well oiled machine....We HAVE TO MATCH whatever points they throw up early...
Say whatever you want....the Cowboys present a field day for a Big Play offense...even Leinart completed a big play Down the sideline. v.s us....It's what we do ....give up big plays or take PI's ....you don't just stop that against Payton Unitas....
I'm scared of getting embarrassed, nevermind losing....That 44-0 Bears win in 85' still sticks in my head to this day....

Once again...a person who has been influenced by the media.
Question for ya...would this "well-oiled machine" have scored more points than we have? I would think so....but they didn't. So, if THEY are a "well-oiled machine", what does that make us since our offense has scored more points than them?

How can anyone take you seriously, last week you posted a similar thread about "How the Cardinals game will be the toughest game of his career". Here is the thread
http://cowboyszone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70244
Seems every week you post something negative about how Dallas will get beat, yada yada yada. Looks like you predicted us to go 0-16, with all the ridiculous posts made. Seems like you have no faith in the team, and every week we will be dominated that will result in a loss. BTW thanx for wasting my life with this pointless thread..........

All you did was take your post from last week before Arizona, and replace Arizona with Indy, Leinart with Manning, etc.
You need to just shut up. Sure we are aware of what Indy CAN do. But we are also aware of how our team CAN play.
The NFL is full of parody. I think that if there ever was a good chance of a 5-4 team knocking off a 9-0, it's now,

The guy is a good actor.I saw him a couple of times when I lived in Charlotte in the early 1980's and he was the biggest star in the wrestling game.
No joke, he had a Limo with a hot tub in the back and he would ride in it with girls in bikinis with him drinking champagne as he tooled around Charlotte. I never talked to him, but I said Hi Ric one time. He was congenial back.

The NFL is full of parody.
Psst...Billy, not to be nitpicky, or to pick on you specifically, but I think you mean that the NFL is full of "parity" and not "parody". I see the word "parody" used a lot in this forum, and I just had to whip out the dictionary:
Parody: 1 : a literary or musical work in which the style of an author or work is closely imitated for comic effect or in ridicule
Parity: 1 : the quality or state of being equal or equivalent
I suppose that you can argue that there is a lot of comic relief and ridicule in the NFL, but I think you are referring to the latter word.
Carry on.

It's not about being all tough...it's about putting guys over...Ric Flair built Pro Wrestling in the South for 20 plus years...he put Kerry Von Erich over when he came to Texas...Tommy Rich in Georgia...Ricky Steamboat in the Carolinas....Dusty Rhodes in Florida ...Everyone wanted a piece of Ric Flair and he would have it no other way....unlike Hogan who refused to lose....Flair understood the "Show" the good of the business...how to sell tickets...he invented the Mic work...
I've met Hacksaw before...he was one wild Irish lunatic...if I recall correctly he had a cuppa coffee with the Falcons...
Let me show you a classic Flair "put over" on TV ...to selll tickets...watch the other...he had zero mic skills - none ...he was big and mean looking is all...but Flair puts him over....

No...you just missed it.
I don't feel like making a daily drama queen thread about how this team is going to die or get killed on the field. Than have to go back and take my foot out of my mouth by making a semi apology thread for being so silly.
You are a troll, plain and simple and frankly many are tired of your lame act.
I am not even sure why you even claim to be a cowboys fan, I mean man alive you never expect them to win and than complain when they don't win.
Why not just go off and find another team or sport to follow so you don't have to feel so bad and have no confidence in the team you claim to follow.
But nooo... that would be too easy and boring, you would rather troll on a sports forum and waste peoples time.
It is lame, it is old and it is boring.
Give it a rest.
Here let me help you curb your trolling nature.
